Bouncer tried to choke me out because I took my beer next door briefly to check my partner was ok and apologising and saying I was happy to come back with it. Despite trying to de-escalate was increasingly more aggressive to the point that other bouncers were telling them to chill. All in all a great place but don’t employ security that make things worse. A good place for the occasional visit. The core range is pretty much always available either on cask or keg or in can. Special offerings usually available, though not at the blistering pace of other breweries nowadays. Good prices overall. Friendly service. This place also typically has an interesting range of guest beers, mainly sour stuff. In terms of ambiance, this is a pretty typical taproom in a railway arch. Moor's tap room and barrel aging vault is one of my favorites along the Bermondsey beer mile. The vault is beer focused and during Saturday afternoons the atmosphere is great with a nice mix of craft beer nerds an people that just are out to enjoy some good beers. Their double IPA:s (especially JJJ when the have it) and the stouts that are barrel aged on premises in this very vault are my recommendations.
