Fantastically supportive running club to individuals of all abilities. The club is extremely welcoming and offers an opportunity to improve your running, or just enjoy your running amongst like minded individuals. The clubs also offers interesting and varied social gatherings including, but not limited to, talks from professional runners, band nights, theatre nights and the occasional good ol knees up. You couldn't ask for more from a running club!

I absolutely love this place! Going for a run, meeting fun people, and enjoying a beer/coffee/smoothie together afterwards... The occasional Jazz or comedy nights have been absolutely smashing too!! Places like this are what makes London the great city it is. Huge huge respect to the owner Tim who's fought through the tough times and kept the place going during Covid and after. Proud to be a London City Runner!

Hipster bar under the railway arches. Dime a dozen on the Bermondsey mile, this one has great staff, benches, oversized Jenga and a ping-pong table. Step free access but the toilets are too tight a squeeze for wheelchairs. Great selection of beers as well as spirits. Coffee available too. Went of a Saturday, very busy. Music was way too loud.

Great new bar on Druid Street SE1 ≠================== London City Runners appeared recently as the new home for the running club. I found it by chance near another bar on Druid Street & was happy to find that runner or not I was welcomed to drink craft beers, shots and pretty darn good coffee. It's the kind of place I'd find back in the USA... Quiet enough to chat when I'm there early and vibrantly full of runners & locals at other times. Just because (as is right now on a Thursday night at 7:45pm) it appears empty, it's because 50 or so runners are out on a 5K sprint. A quick chat with Tim behind the bar suggests great times ahead with scheduled 70s / 80s & 90s nights & other themed nights. Local beers, local people......

I found this club from googleing around as after some medical issues I was on medication and collapsed whilst running in London and did not want to run alone ! And WOW did my misfortune of collapsing turn out to be a blessing in disguise !!! THIS IS THE BEST MOVE I HAVE MADE SINCE MOVING TO LONDON !! What an amazingly friendly bunch of very diverse people and running ability's ! I have been a member for over a year now and truly feel like I have a running family in London with these guys and gals ! The running is brilliant but the social aspect is better and our new home is amazing ! Thank you Tim and Kerry in particular but than you to all the club who make it...

A fantastic free running club for all abilities - they really make you feel welcome no matter your pace. Since I joined, my running has significantly improved and I’ve met loads of new people. Everyone has been so encouraging and supportive, so I’d highly recommend this club. If you are just starting to run, City Runners is a great club to join for support in reaching your goals. There are 3 sessions a week - on Tuesday, you can choose either a 5, 6, or 10K loop around the Thames, on Thursday, intervals are held at a local park, and Sundays is a 10K along the Thames towards Greenwich and back, with some people doing longer runs of 11...
