It’s a really nice discovery, nestled in what looks like a former garage(s) on the housing estate. Has a very homely informal feeling that I enjoyed, with eclectic furniture and mosaic decorations, plus an open kitchen. I had a coffee and cake that came to £6.30. I guess that’s just the price in London these days, but I thought it was a little high for what I got. Useful place to sit and do a bit of work i. the afternoon when it’s not so busy. I seemed to have slightly awkward interactions with the staff, but they were generally pleasant.

I’m cautious to say this but this is probably my favourite cafe in all of London! The quality of the food is outstanding and there’s a different dish they serve each day where they seem to experiment from a range of cuisines. It’s a very homey vibe and definitely a place that I would love to sit in for hours if I could. The owner is so friendly and really takes the time to know their customers which is so rare to find in London. If only I lived close by because I would be here much more!!

They have the most amazing chilli tuna and cheese toasties! I was almost tempted to eat the paperbag it came in, just to get a tiny morsel more of that cheesy goodness. Good coffee. It is all decently priced and has a lovely outdoor area. Dog friendly, too 🐕

Genuinely a hidden diamond, this one! The food is AMAZING, and is cooked by someone who obviously genuinely loves what he does. Not only that, but there are regular guest chefs and the menu changes daily. DAILY!!! Both I and my friend were genuinely blown away by the wonderful quality of the food and the skill of the cooking. Sadly they are now on hiatus for a month for the August downturn as most people are away, but they will open again I guess at the beginning of September, and I for one cannot wait to be able to revisit and discover just what culinary delights will be on offer then! Oh yes, how do I leave 10 out of 5 stars for Mother at The Mosaic?

It’s such a hidden gem of a place! I was in London for a week for my daughter’s summer camp. I was looking for a comfortable place to sit and work and get food options! It was absolutely brilliant, it looked very simple and not as chic as the popular cafes like GAILs but to my most pleasant surprise they blew me with the fresh dishes made every morning on the premises and different every day!
