As a São Paulo native, I hold my pizza to the highest standard. Imagine my delight when I discovered a slice of my city right here in London at this Brazilian restaurant. The moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere transported me back to the bustling streets of my hometown.
The pizza was a revelation. Each bite was a flavorful journey—the crust, perfectly thin and crispy, the cheese, delightfully stringy and rich, and the toppings, a fresh and flavorful homage to the finest ingredients. It was, without exaggeration, the best pizza I’ve had outside of Brazil.
But it wasn’t just the food that was amazing. The ambiance of the place, with its warm lighting and lively music, created a welcoming environment that perfectly complemented the dining experience. The staff, with their genuine smiles and excellent service, made us feel right at home.
In summary, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the authentic taste of São Paulo’s pizza in London. It’s a culinary gem that stands out in the city’s diverse food scene. I left with a full stomach and a nostalgic heart, already planning my next visit.
And let’s not forget the Caipirinha—Brazil’s national cocktail. It was the best I’ve had since leaving São Paulo. The balance of sweet, tangy lime, and the kick of cachaça was mixed to perfection, transporting me back to the vibrant nightlife of my city. It was the perfect accompaniment to the meal, encapsulating the spirit of Brazil in a glass.
If I were to point out one thing that could elevate the experience even further, it would be the addition of soft, Bossa Nova Brazilian music. The gentle rhythms and soothing melodies of Bossa Nova would have complemented the exceptional food and drink, wrapping the entire dining experience in the true...
Read moreIn several decades on this earth and after eating hundreds of pizzas (I’m a fan in general) I have to say I’ve never had pizza like this before and I love it!
We dined in and the waitress was a bit nervous, maybe new, but really attentive and friendly and didn’t mind the kids which is always a bonus ha. It’s obviously a family run business and there’s a real warmth to the place. You immediately feel at ease and welcome in there. But seriously, the pizza! My wife and I took it in turns to look at the other and say “it’s just so good!” I enjoyed it immensely. It was incredibly tasty, I left comfortably full and it felt nice and light. There was no greasiness.
If there was a star rating for price it would probably be a 3, although £8 for fries is so outrageous it’s kinda funny rather than enraging. £73 (inc 10% tip) for two adults and two kids aged 6 and 2, sharing two pizzas (S+M), one chips, 4 drinks seems wild to me. But on the walk home my wife and I debated it and we realised it’s maybe only 20% more expensive than a chain who obviously have the luxury of scale. Not only that but this just seems so much fresher and way more memorable. Ultimately I’m willing to pay the difference for a wonderful local restaurant like this. We’re fairly new to the area and I’m sure this will become a regular for my family. Thank you!
PS for anyone interested we had a “make your own” with shredded chicken, pepperoni, black olives, peppers, and rocket with a stuffed crust, and I can’t recommend that combo enough. Medium was...
