17/08/24 Update: Although the staff has changed over time, the exceptional service and friendliness have remained consistent. The owner is still the same - down-to-earth, welcoming, and treats every customer as a guest, not just a number. The amazing hospitality here deserves all the success.

This café remains a fantastic spot for dining in or takeaways. There is one section at the back that is air conditioned; perfect for hot summer weather. The selection of food and drinks is still impressive and competitively priced; often being cheaper than nearby businesses.

This is still a wonderful local business that reflects upon the owner's care and dedication, that deserves all the recognition and support.

2021: Such a fantastic place for dining in or takeaways. Good selection of food and drinks that are competitively priced. The pastries are particularly tempting and I somehow end up here several times a week!

The highlight are the fantastic staff. Very friendly, warm, and open. They genuinely seem like great people and their personalities are not generic but really shine!

Fabulous to eat in such an iconic former studio knowing that The Beatles, Bowie, Hendrix, Zeppelin etc. have all trodden the same boards - albeit for a slightly different purpose. Putting aside the allure of the site per-se it also happens to be a decent neighbourhood eaterie although, as the neighbourhood happens to be Barnes, the prices are commensurately pitched - as high as Freddie Mercury's falsetto. Went here with my three kids and we all loved the experience. The cafe is clean and the customer service was out of this world. I told them that my 4 year old isn't able to eat a a whole full English so they were kind enough to be so accommodating and fix up a small plate for him so he doesn't feel left out.(see image below).will definitely come...
