Racist staff

My friends and I visited this place during their promotion of wing Wednesday which they clearly stated from 5pm - 10pm. We arrived individually and saw the lovely food that was being served to customers. Once all five of us had arrived not longer after 6pm we attempted to place our order for food only to be told:

'There was not enough food for us'.

Can you imagine how we felt when we looked around and everyone was enjoying their meal while we were being refused to be served. We continued to ask how could you possibly not have enough food for us when their sign that was hung up on their wall clearly stated they were serving from 5pm to 10pm?? There were 4 members of staff at the time and only one showed any understanding and any manners while he apologised clearly embarrassed about his other 3 colleagues behaviour. The manager gave us the most stupid explanation as to why they couldn't serve us while at the same time at least 6 plates of food would be served to customers by their waiter. When you listen to his ridiculous excuse and you look around the entire venue and you and your friends are the only people of colour and the only ones who are being refused to be served it becomes clear what the real reason was. I am so disgusted by the treatment we received and it saddens me that people could be treated like this in 2018. They might as well as hung up a sign on the front door which read 'Whites only' because that is the service we received. I have the...

We came down for the bottomless wings. The service was a little slow to begin with but it might be because we arrived fairly early into the evening so it was quite empty to begin with. We all ordered bottomless wings which you go to the bar and order. The wings are small but they served us plenty. The bottomless wings offer you 2 options Buffalo and BBQ. Buffalo comes with blue cheese sauce although we had to ask for it because it didn't originally arrive with it. The sauces are tasty and wings are good. For £13 bottomless we all agreed it was a brilliant price. Although they aren't the juiciest wings you can find in London it'll certainly fill you up. They don't seem to have a timer on how long you can eat so we enjoyed plenty of wings and a few drinks. Lots of beer options, cocktails and soft drinks. Happy hours and lots of deals available. We tried to book a table online but the website suggested that we didn't need to for under 4 people so we did a walk in and got a table easily. Very close to Farringdon station, great location to meet friends. I'd...

Update: Went again and had a better experience. Sat at the bar and ate there with one other person. Bar staff were super attentive and funny. Going to leave it at 3 stars though. Would go again. Leaving first review below for posterity.

First review: Food was great, but service was really rubbish. Sat us down, but didn't give us any menus. We ordered food (had to walk over to the bar where two of the waiters were stood talking to each other). The wait on food wasn't too bad, but they brought us the wrong food. I would go again, just to give them a second chance, as the food was decent and the price was reasonable, but management should really think about how to improve the customer experience. If you want people to order at the bar, put menus on the table and tell customers the system. If you want to be a table service restaurant, make it easier for people to...

Very quiet when we went (9pm) kitchen closes at 9:30. Turns in to a bar after. Buffalo wings were nice according to my partner who likes buffalo wings (I don't so can only say I thought they were okay), they're also small but plentiful one portion is more than enough for 2 or even 3 people. Sweet potato fries were delicious and the loaded/dirty fries alright. Had the popping cherry cocktail which was also nice. The beer wasn't bad either and I don't like beer. The voodoo wing was hot a nice challenge thing to do in company - I'm used to spice and was able to eat the whole wing but I'll be honest my lips were burning for a bit and mouth hot. It's safely past the point of enjoying food for taste and more for assessing spice tolerance.

Staff thought me asking for 2/3rds was odd for a 7.6 % beer. Ok fine you do pints and halves. Sometimes if a beer is some awfully hoppy 'craft beer hops are burning my eyes nightmare' you don't necessarily want a whole 568ml. Asking for anythig less means you are a libtard cuck apparently. 😑 They do 2-4-1 cocktails and happy hour before 7pm. It's nice that amateur drinkers are catered for. Low key, laid back decor that makes for a decent environment for having a conversation. It's a little off the radar but this place is worth keekping a secret (by not telling anyone about). Good range of beers and acceptable pub grub. A decent place I have no reason not to frequent. Good shelving.
