Palette Restaurant — Restaurant in London

Delightful. I found this jewel using Google maps after leaving the Victoria and Albert Museum. It was a little confusing at first, as it was inside the Rembrandt Hotel. To add to the confusion, the actual restaurant was closed but the bar was open. I took my chances, and ordered fish and chips from the bar. The person who took my order was extremely friendly and I waited in a very comfortable chair at a small table. When the food came out, it was piping hot and looked marvelous. Looks were not deceiving. It was delicious. What's more, the chef came out to see if everything was okay about 10 minutes after I was served. I am from the United States and my idea of fish and chips was what they serve at Captain D's. In many ways, this was very similar. The battery was nice and crunchy and the fries were like steak fries, not potato wedges. The English peas were very tasty as well. I rounded out the meal with sticky...

Went to have brunch with my friends and my friend has a severe nut allergy. The server didn’t reassure us with the cross contamination issue and went to get the manager. The manager said they wouldn't serve my friend food or drinks unless she signed a waiver to say if she has a reaction it's not on them???

As a food blogger I have been to many restaurants and I have never heard of a restaurant make someone sign something like this before. Apparently it’s because they’ve had an incident before. This is shocking and an appalling policy, you need to do better in your kitchen and preparation instead of getting people to sign things to say it’s not your fault - embarrassing. We...

Came here for dinner after visiting the museum. When we walked in, we were a bit confused. The restaurant section was closed, but the waiter said they were open for dinner and he sat us in the lounge area with small table with lounge-type chairs which were hard to maneuver, but it’s fine, it worked and we were hungry.
