Papa's Chicken — Restaurant in London

Yesterday I had an unpleasant experience with Papas parcel and a shop where I purchased a chicken wrap. When I received the package, I noticed that the outer silver coating of the thermal packaging was poorly done and beginning to flake off, leaving silver residues on my hands.

To my dismay, I also discovered silver residues on the chicken wrap itself. This was concerning as it suggested a potential lapse in food safety standards and posed a health hazard if ingested.

When I reported the issue to the shop, I was disappointed with their response. They were unresponsive and did not offer any satisfactory solution such as a refund or a replacement.

Overall, my experience with Papas parcel and the shop was unsatisfactory. The poor quality of the thermal package's coating and the presence of silver residues on both the packaging and food item raises concerns about the reliability and effectiveness of the packaging. Additionally, the unresponsive customer service from the shop further adds to the disappointment.

Based on my experience, I would caution against using Papas parcel and the shop in question for future purchases. As a consumer, I prioritize my health and safety and expect retailers to uphold high food safety standards and responsive...

Update Aug 2019 - Thought I would give the place another go, and I'm glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised. The filet burger I was served was nice, good size and not beaten to a flat peice of cardboard as previously experienced. The filet burger that was served was tasty, tender and the bun was fresh. The customer service was a lot better too! The owner is clearly paying attention to the reviews. This is a better standard for food. Your staff should ask what sauce people want instead of just chucking loads of sauce packs in the bag, this will save you money and save the environment too. Otherwise the experience has improved 100%. Keep up the quality.

Feb 2019 - Dry tasteless chicken. They sell cheap chicken. Poor excuse of fried chicken. Even their fillet burgers, are rubbish, the chicken has been cut so thin, and beaten flat, it tastes awful. Fried cardboard could be made to be tastier. Do us all a favour shut down, or start serving quality. Seriously, knock off fried chicken shops need to just close down. I get you rely on the drunk, and late night buyers, who don't care, but have some pride in what you do. Deliver some degree...

This place used to be so nice, great food at cheap prices.

Now it's terrible complete rip off!! I asked for 20 wings and three peices of chicken and chips, I was surprised the managed to fit all the wings and chicken in one box. Went home and saw most of their wings are 1/2 the size they are normally, while the others were normal size.

When I went there again, I saw the wings separated in the fryer window, the tiny wings on one side and the regular in the other. So when someone ordered wings they guy stand right in front of the window and pops in the most of the tiny wings and some of the regular ones.

The other reviews are right, with my order for 3 people (20 wings, 3 piece chicken and chips) the guy gave me ONE chilli sauce!!

Out of the people working there the three guys (one Bangladeshi softly speaking, Turkish looking guy and tall Pakistani/Indian guy) they're lovely, always polite, well mannered and very respectful. The others need to be retrained and trained again, terrible...
