Patrick's Beckenham — Restaurant in London

This is the worst place I have visited in my life. Came in with my friend for a drink. My friend said she was not really thirsty but she can sip from mine. The lad at the bar was very nice and gave us what we ordered. Then the owner or whoever he is said we needed to buy 2 drinks. We went ahead and order Coca-Cola in a bottle. Instead of saying we do not have a bottle, he brough a glass full of ice and a small can of Coca-Cola for a mixer. I politely said not that one but the one in a bottle. He took both drinks and said he was not going to serve us and we should leave. I have never been this shocked. You need to do better with your altitude. My friend said as soon as she saw him walk over, she knew he was not there to be nice to us and had already made up his mind we were not going to sit in his bar. If we had not seen a nice black security guard few days earlier while passing by, who said hi to us, we would have said the owner is pure racist. This is a shock but. We walked in there because the security guy was nice to us. Now we know not to every step foot there. Many other nice places to visit. I have seen their replies to other negative reviews but I really don't care. Sonething...

A good place to watch football. Plenty of screens and seats and comfortable settings. However, the owner saw it fit to throw me out because I only had one pint over the course of a half of football. Was taking a breather over half time before ordering a second drink but I was told to leave before I had the chance to do so. He assumed I wasn't going to order another one I guess but that wasn't the case and a simple question would have clarifed that. I get that the owner has bills and subscriptions to pay but surely me having 2 or 3 pints over the course of 2 hours on a quiet Tuesday night is better than nothing? I must add, I had a pleasant experience in there a few days before with another person serving. I urge the owner to rethink how he treats people. Another approach and I would have happily been in there 2 or 3...

I dont leave reviews but the service from Andy the barman was such a disgrace I had to leave feedback for it to be addressed. Andy was so bad I cannot be asked to write it all but his energy attitude and overall service did a complete U turn out of nowhere after we'd been there for about 2 hours drinking when I said I didn't want another drink yet but bought my wife one. We easily spent more than anyone else there so the issue weren't money and I don't really care what personal phone call he took or issues he has that triggered it, his service was disgraceful and after making my wifes drink because i didnt order a drink throw my wifes drink away and said neither can get a drink then unless you buy 2. He has ruined the experience of going to my local and we won't be going there again whilst he's there if...
