Pho Brunch — Restaurant in London

I came here on a whim with a party of 6 after failing to find a restaurant elsewhere able to seat all of us without an hour wait.

We didn't expect much, but we all had a pleasant experience here at Pho Brunch. The food was cheap and tasty and the portions absolutely huge. I ordered extra thinking the cheap prices meant conservative portions, but I was mistaken. We were stuffed by the end of the meal.

The service was great; the staff were kind to give us iced water even before were all seated. They were accommodating for our slightly larger party, even when their restaurant wasn't super large.

Highly recommend for someone looking for some vietnamese food, or some hot soup, or just want to eat in a restaurant that will treat you like you're a member...

Ordered the beef pho one lunchtime. The soup didn't have much flavour so I would rate it as below average.

The establishment is rated 4 (out of 5) for hygiene. I am really not sure where and how they got that. From observation during the meal:

1. waiter / chef / owner was eating his lunch, came over to take our order, and started preparing WITHOUT washing his hands!
2. he called for help when it got busy, and the second chef again didn't appear to have his hands washed.
3. cutlery - they were in an organiser on each tablet, but the chopsticks were old and worn with what looked like dirt trapped on them. The set up looked like street food, with probably the cleanliness of a street food stall. Definitely will not go back...

Was looking for something quick so tried this place. It’s nice, casual, cosy and quiet. Staff were friendly. We ordered the salt and pepper tofu, papaya salad with tofu and seafood bun soup noodle. Salt & pepper tofu was crispy not dried so you can taste the soft tofu. It does need a bit more salt to the dish as it was bland. It was served with sweet chilly sauce. I would have preferred nuoc cham. The papaya salad had ripe mangoes in it, would be better without the mango. Dressing was balanced enough. Seafood bun unfortunately didn’t make the mark for me.
