I am in shock over my mistreatment at your establishment today. I placed a collection order through JustEat. I arrived with my dog and informed the man at the front desk that I was picking up an order. He told me it would be a few minutes. I quietly waited in the corner of the restaurant. After 10 minutes I approached the man asking where the toilet was- he walked off. I assumed he didn’t hear me but it was only us and we were standing face to face. The chef instead guided me (my dog was left in the corner). After coming back I asked the man how much longer it would be for my food since it was ready on the app- he walked off. I was deeply disturbed at the level of which I was being ignored. I then politely asked again and was ignored again. I started filming, some of his behaviour was recorded but as soon as he realised he was being filmed he changed his behaviour- suddenly he wasn’t rude and was giving eye contact. He told me I shouted at him and tried to turn the tables on me, then suddenly he had an issue with my dog (after being there for 20 minutes) and asked me to take her outside, which I did. A female worker grabbed my arm forcing me into the doorway. It was truly shocking. I was nothing but polite and to be treated in such a way leaves me to believe one thing- they didn’t like the way I looked. To be ignore and dehumanised for absolutely no apparent reason has only one explanation. I explained to the Australian man that the restaurant’s CCTV and hopefully audio will prove the experience I had. I won’t stop at a review. came here with my girlfriend trying to have a good time. Food was nice arrived at reasonabls time although abit longer than usual. Asked if I could get a student discount, just dismissed me by saying you dont have NUS card (i have normal student ID). At least tell me if I can get some discount because Unidays does have discount for this shop! But not dismissed me walked away before I could ask any questions. I think it has something to do with the name on my card. But i smell racism. Was all nice to me until they saw the name on my card. Asking for the bill it took them 30 mins to give me. No appology, just I said politely why you didnt tell me earlier something was wrong with the system, but let me wait for 30 mins clueless.. the waiter just start blabbering about we are humans we all made mistakes etc. For God sake, i am your customer- have some respect on my time and appreciate me abit!
The one who served me was a 40ish middle age woman and I expected calmness and nice treatment but i felt like im in some cheap isolated Italian restaurant in some old village kinda atmostphere.
It took me 1 whole month trying to forget this incident but I had to write it finally becAuse it means i can let it go finally and WARN YOU- LOOK ELSEWHERE!
Go to different pizza express or different pizza shop but certainly not this branch. Lastly, Appologies for my shortcomings but Me and my gf certainly didnt deserve that treatment on our lovely evening.

We ordered the vegan pizza (with quorn pieces, who had a appetising description ) that cost around 13 pound. The server asked us what kind of dough we wanted between the regular one or the thin. We choose the thin crust. Then We asked for tap water to the server and he brought us 2 cup that could have been more seriously wiped. We could see dry water drops.
We waited 5 to 7min. He brought us the pizza that doesn't seems nice and tasty which actually isn't nice and tasty. It didn't have the look of the description that was on the menu. We asked for spicy oil and by the time I got it my pizza was already cold. We asked for the bill, we put our cash in 15 pounds and our surprise was that we weren't going to pay the price seen on the menu but 16 pounds something. We asked the server why and he said you took the thin crust. So we are paying more for less dough that had been stretch to the extreme?(we had hole on the slices) unbelievable. We added 2pounds to the change we put. We were ready to go when the server came back with the change saying we were short. We were surprised and asked him to count again because we added the money needed. At the end we added 4 pound extra.
