Just finished my dinner at this restaurant. Would like to rate and explain why I gave 1 ⭐ overall. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Average. Nothing outstanding or surprising, and kimchi was so big in each piece, usually Korean restaurants will make it into smaller pieces for customers to eat easier. And there is no complimentary side dishes as I first time encountered. Atmosphere⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Was sitting at terrace, quiet, only 3-4 tables there not crowded. Service⭐️. Finally come to this part to explain why I gave one star⭐. Was served by Ms Elena(according to her pronounces) at reception, She was nice and soft. And another lady came to take my order, I asked whether there's free side dishes or I need to order, so simple question just give me yes or no also can make people confused and fed up. Then only gave me chopsticks and napkin, where is the spoon? I thought this is an Asian restaurant? Ok nvm maybe later will give me as I ordered soup. After all food served still didn't noticed there's no spoon on my table, I was very frustrated and only can request for it by myself. After finished my meal, I wanted to take away seafood pancake cuz still left a lot, She just put the box on my table without saying anything and walk away. Throughout the meal, the 2 ladies who served me just gave me a feeling they are not keen to serve just simply impatient to me, no greetings, no eye contact, no warmth, no smile, the body language and tone of voice just showed I'm not welcome by them. I'm not asking an excellent service I'm asking basic courtesy and respect. Somemore I paid here I think I deserve a professional service. Elena is a nice girl hopefully she didn't get bullied by them. Btw I asked to talk to manager about my experience but sadly one of them is the manager.
Was in a good mood but end up they literally made my day in a opposite way.
Thank you Elena, this one ⭐️ is...
Read moreWhat a find! My husband and I popped in for dinner for the first time this Thursday before heading to the Cinema. The welcome was warm, the hostess seated us straight away and we ordered our drinks and took our time reading through the menu. The choice of food is perfect - something for everyone. my husband had the beef dumplings, which he loved and there was plenty to share. I had a yummy miso soup... then the sushi and sashimi arrived... DELICIOUS, fresh and melt in the mouth, again plenty to share. My husband then had the Ginseng chicken (don't forget to use the seasoning they give you before they serve you the dish) he really enjoyed the dish - a whole small chicken and broth in a bowl. I had the sweet and sour prawns from the starter menu... again plenty to share and so clean and fresh with tasty ginger and garlic. We had hot sake and sparkling water and after our meal we felt happy, relaxed and excited for when we can come visit bibida again! Our hostess was incredible, full of excellent recommendations and very passionate about the food. We shall be coming back and bringing...
Read moreSummary: Average food, poor service for solo diners
I was in the neighbourhood for an errand and decided to eat here as I was craving Asian food. Food was served very fast and was of average taste. Unfortunately the waitress seemed to be rather in a rush. I had barely finished my meal while having sat for maybe 30 mins and she already came to collect my dishes. She again returned to collect my teapot which I hadn’t even finished yet. She then straight away brought the card reader to my face ready for the payment. I felt bad at that point and was reflecting if it was my fault but upon checking the time I had only been there for 40 mins. A few mins later she came to me and coldly told me I had to leave by 2pm (an hour since I came in). The manner in which this was said as well as the rushed service throughout made me feel really bad for even having serviced this restaurant. I don’t mind having a set time limit but it would have been nicer if this was communicated to me when I first came in rather than leaving me in the dark and making me feel like I was unnecessarily...
