Note: original 4-star review (given in 2020) is now changed to a 5-star one (14NOV2023) JohnF is to be given credit for his work — preparing the best ever latte to my taste, as of 9 November 2023 — and serving that with authentic kindness and genuine smiles despite the fact that it was late in the evening and he must have been at the end of his busy day at work. Such pro-active behaviour adds value to the product, to the brand and to the service and becomes the embodiment of a certain company. JohnF's attitude become, and in my books is, the positive confirmation and embodiment of PRET: not only that of the experience of a fabulously tasty cup of coffee but also PRET as a community of people which, it must feel good to belong to, thus work together with. Besides, it also indicates that JohnF takes healthy pride in what he does — let that be attention to detail or professional presentation of the served item or even himself; such, I think, is something quite commendable. More so, as ,this review was written based on an experience that occurred on 9 November 2023 yet JohnF’s kindness, role-model-like professionalism and quality of work, at least from my viewpoint, is consistently that of high standard on each and every day ever since — so chances are that's the normal standard for him — and not only when interacting with me. If I may be bold enough to add: I cannot possibly know how much conscious effort goes into what consistently becomes a very good experience on my side; I think the quality of his work, his positive enabling approach to people — let them be colleagues or customers — are actually integrous to JohnF as a human being. Not forgetting for even a moment that this also indicates to me that the values of PRET as an organisation, as a corporate entity and the lived experience of the culture created by the community of their staff members are actually consistent with one another — in other words there appears to be negligible, if any, gap between the two. A remarkable attainment particularly, in this era of post-Truth and...
Read moreHello Just a general review to say the coffee subscription is amazing, I visit a pret most days when working and love having a great coffee daily for a fixed price! I tend to go to cannon street and London bridge prets and they've always been great.
Just for this one I visited today at Unit 21 at George's wharf SW8. I went to vaxhall station today for the first time as I was vieiwjg a car down in Windsor. I quickly googled a pret and this was right on the doorstep to the station. When I was queuing I was thinking about Almond crossiants as I was debating earlier in the day at work how almond is pronounced. Because I was thinking of this, I went to the till and immediately asked for an almond crossiant by mistake. I realised very quickly and apologised and asked for just an oat latte. Kuily asked if I wanted an almond crossiant as well but I had rejected because of the covid situation I am penny pinching and the Pret membership is a treat in it's self. I was tempted as I hadn't eaten since the morning and was very hungry. I didn't speak to kuily much but she gave me the crossiant anyway and the coffee at the same time and said it was on the house. It's not a lot but I must say I really really appreciate that and thought she was very nice, friendly and dealt with me as a customer very well, not just for the freebie but in general I think she was very well. I try to leave reviews to staff when I have a good experience and I must say, although it was a short visit, it was a very pleasant one and I've walked away happy! Next time I go to a pret (Tomorrow morning) I will ensure to buy one as I had one for free and It...
Read morelocation: Vauxhall, St George Wharf, avoid it all cost. when you come to Pret , you come thinking about the tasty food, but outside the food, the quality is below zero. there is only 1 toilet shared by both male and female customers,it was dirty and very smelly, also the stuff was very rude and when I asked for skimmed milk for the coffee, the barista look it at me like I ask for an arm and leg and she said that they only have regular and if I don't like it, there is a Tesco at the corner. I just spend 30£ for sandwiches and coffee and I couldn't enjoy it because the staff was so rude and treated me like a 3 class citizen. I know Pret don't pay much for their employees but they should be nice to customers and if they have a personal problems , they should keep it at home, not treating customers like rubbish. will never...
