I visited Bromley pret yesterday with few colleagues. Extremely good food. But what made everything more special is how they dealt with my inquiry. I forgot to take the receipt and went back to the store as I realised I needed the copy. The store staff was extremely helpful- they tried to find it for me. No luck. Their manager was out of office so they didn’t have detailed access to the system. However they promised they will get in touch with some other manager and call me back with their feedback. They diligently called me back and suggested best approach to get the copy as they couldn’t retrieve the receipt. They could be not caring enough for such a small request, but they did. Ula at the store specifically was amazing and called me back. I appreciate the ownership and diligence of the team .
Also thanks for the amazing food - I love all the veg options there and the yoghurts! A1 team and food.
I received the receipt from the customer service team in less than 24 hours of request. Top notch customer service and...
Read moreI happily spent almost £20 on lunch and the guy that served was lovely. However the real test of good customer service is how you deal with things when they go wrong. My child found a long blonde hair in her food and couldn’t continue her lunch. I returned to Pret, discretely spoke to a female member of the staff whilst the shop was quiet and her response was to bombard me with accusations. “Where is it?” “You should have seen it straight away.” My child is 4 and it wasn’t sitting on top of the food. We both have black hair so def not ours. “It’s almost finished”. There were 2/3 left including the accompaniments. “Well what do you want?” And then gave me permission to exchange. I didn’t need an apology when I went in but after over defensive and accusatory manner in hindsight a sorry and exchange would’ve been sufficient. If I wanted cheap, cheerful and bottom rate service, I wouldn’t be buying my child...
Read moreThe staff are so incredibly rude and hostile to the customers while spending all their time loudly shouting at one another and telling jokes.
For the third time I’ve been treated terribly when trying to specify “oat milk” and receiving the wrong order. I have a northern accent so I always try to be clear and repeat myself when asking for this - I’m lactose intolerant so I don’t have much choice - which itself often provokes annoyance in staff, “I heard you the first time!” They never repeat back the order or acknowledge it. I only find out the mistake when I get the cup with or without the right sticker, and then I’m always the problem, “you didn’t say oat milk!” “Yes, I did. 3 times. You didn’t understand me or confirm, and now you’re deflecting at me.”
I’m not sure who the manager is there but they should have a good word or find some replacements.
Time for me to cancel my membership and find a new...
