The food was lovely as always. Normally, customer service is great. However, I was looked at like I didn't belong there. When I asked for a large rice and peas and stew beef, she very bluntly said, "Stew chicken only?" (Even tho the menu says they have stew beef), no worries at all. We love stew chicken too, so I said "yes please, that's fine. We like most of the food you guys have available. " She then proceeded to kiss her teeth and roll her eyes at me. Even my children noticed and asked why she was being rude. She was very blunt, and it's upsetting as I love getting food from here, and I tell everyone about the amazing food at Roses Kitchen. At a loose end and hungry, I made a decision to come here. I had passed early in the morning and noticed a delicious aroma from quite a distance.

So, later in the afternoon, I found Rose’s Kitchen.

Inside, I was met with straightforward service and information about the food, which grew to genuine warmth and a kind interaction.

I took my food away. As a veggie, Caribbean food isn’t always the easiest, but this was one of the best macaroni cheeses I have ever eaten.
