Updates: can clearly see restaurant reshuffled their staff and much better service now
Been here since 7 years ago it had always been the best.. we went at least once a week. but lately no! The waitress and waiters omg⦠clearly recently hired maybe still students of what, clearly young and no idea what they are doing⦠they just stood there and chat so loud ALL THE TIME! when we asked for tissue or anything they were blind! Especially that girl! She pushed us to leave even while we were still chewing our food. Hey at least wait for us finish what we have in our mouths?? And when we were about to leave she was āplaying/flirtingā with other ppl and basically fell onto my feet almost pushed me down and didnāt even say sorry. So rude as if she owns the place ?? I have never seen a waitress so arrogant as if she was the princess playing in her house! Honestly we felt very uncomfortable. And also the food was were price at least 20%higher. Will explore other hot pot places in London whose service is actually worth that much of a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday, my girlfriend and I decided to visit this restaurant. This place is pleasant, you feel Chinese culture right away. We were seated outside and here the most interesting part begins. By their words outside is in the garden. However, the room is fully enclosed and the only difference from the "inside" part is the chance to smoke. We ordered everything and started to eat and then both of us noticed a MOUSE, and you could say that both of us were mistaken and we also thought that, but then we saw second one!!!

When we were talking to a waitress about that, she sent us to a cashier-manager. Manager told us that it's normal, since that is "outside" and mice would be there anyway. And I repeat, that place was fully enclosed and directly connected to...
Read moreGreat hot pot restaurant with most of the classic choice of 'fillings'. Be warned: the spiciest spicy soup is really (mala 麻辣) spicy!
If you've not had hot pot before: first of all choose your soup. Half and half is a good choice, with one half spicy and the other tomato, mushroom or veg. Then choose what you want to put in it: a selection of meat, veg and tofu. You also need to choose your own sauce. I recommend sesame, vinegar and soy sauce or just soy and vinegar, adding garlic and coriander to taste. Ask the staff of you can't see these at your table (you only have to pay for the sesame sauce).
Then when the food comes, cook it in the soup and then dip it in your personal sauce before eating. Share the food with your friends and take your time - in china the meal can take up to a couple of hours. Enjoy, and don't be shy to ask the staff for help /...
