I was in London to attend a conference and was looking for a good steak restaurant after the event close out. I was pleasently surprised to find this charming Argentinian restaurant with excellent reviews. I walked there from the station with my rain coat. The ambiance was nice and the food was great, but unfortunately I had a very unpleasent experience which I will proceed to illustrate. There were many white Europeans inside and a lady who looked Asian. I am from Angola, but look a little Arabic due to my lighter complexion. People payed normally and left. When it was my turn to pay, I too asked for the bill from the younger waiter and paid. Apparently, the older (supposedly Argentinian) waiter did not see me pay and when I left the restaurant she went after me outside inquiring if I had paid. I then showed her the card receipt as evidence. This event was quite saddening to me. There were some German tourists outside who witnessed the occurrence as they were leaving as well. Whether I can blame this on a bias I really don't know, but what I can share is that this really changed the whole mood of my trip which had been quite pleasent up to that point. Appart from that, everything was great. The restaurant is really nice, the other waiter who happened to be from Romania was really friendly, and the food was excellent. Maybe I was...

Stopped in here for dinner as a single diner when I was in the UK. It was quiet when I went at about 7pm with just one other table but did start filling as I was leaving an hour later. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

I started with their chorizo tradicional which was absolutely fantastic, the perfect small bite before my mains. For that i ordered their Rib-eye steak, a side of mash potatoes, spinach and a side salad of onions and tomatoes. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and each bite melted in my mouth. The sides were a great pairing, creamy mash and the tomato and onion went so well with each bite of steak! I was not really a fan of the spinach though but may be because I thought would be a creamed spinach whereas this was lighter with pine nuts and lemon.

After all that lovely food I was too stuffed to even think on desert but ended with a cortado which was the perfect end to a great meal. Would definitely visit again...

I was in London, and got this restaurant as a recommendation for steak from my hotel concierge. I got there and only one table was occupied, but it wasn’t much more than half an hour and the place was packed. As soon as I sat down I was given a sample of Churrasco to try. It was damn good. I love prawns so I had to order the Gambas al a plancha. Fantastic! They really know how to grill food just right. So, what do I order as a main. I was craving a steak that day, so I had to have the Churrasco steak. I saw it was 400 grams and when I saw it placed on the table with the vegetables and mushrooms, I thought “doggie bag.” You see the cut in the steak? That’s because I couldn’t wait to eat it. It was easily the best steak I’ve had in the last 15 years! I didn’t think I’d finish a 14 ounce steak but I couldn’t stop eating. I’m already booked to go to London next year, and I know we’ll definitely be visiting The Bull...

Pretty impressed! We had a group dinner here with about 20 people and everything came out nicely cooked and at the same time, which is no small feat! The steak was really nicely flavored and well cooked. I split the mixed grill with all 4 cuts of steak. The ribeye and the sirloin were perfect, the rump and lomo were a little overdone. Sauces were great. Overall, really enjoyable place, and I may be back on my own.
