Terrible service always. Went here a few times as I always enjoyed their food however the service has always been poor. I have ignored it a few times but the last time I went they were so rude and ignorant towards me I was actually shocked so havenāt used them for a few years now. Today, I though, why not. Small businesses have been on tough times, why not reconsider. Well! I was wrong!! I will never use this shop again. The same balding man who runs the till was there, this time he ignored me when I walked into the shop to order my cod and chips because he was more interested in the football on the tv. I ordered and he shouts at a man behind the counter who is on the phone and ignore him. I then stand there, being ignored for five minutes until I ask if thatās ok, as in, is it ok if you start making my order? The man then stands up, huffs at me and shouts ā10 minutes ā By this point I wasnāt really looking to spend more time in this āāfast foodāā establishment and tell them ādonāt worry, I donāt have that much timeā The bald server than starts shouting at me and calling me ridiculous to the point where his colleague has to come in and calm him down. Never been treated so rudely and definitely wonāt be giving my money to idiots who donāt know how to treat customers. One word. ARROGANT!! Go to the people by Haggerston station, just as good and way...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is from a person who has tried fish and chips from Wicked Fish a top rated fish and chip shop, the chips are not that far behind from being top quality, they were not too dry and not too oily however they lacked potato content, the good thing is that seasoning is left for the customer to choose, there was salt, vinegar, ketchup, mayo and burger sauce avaiable.
The fish batter was pretty decent but it could improve in terms of texture, it was a bit hard but very crunchy.
The place looked well maintained, could not see any hygiene risks from my point of view, but, who knows.
Overall i enjoyed the place and look forward to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is mine and my family's regular spot for fish and chips along with several other menu items.
Their fish and chips is always very good. The other is their halal battered sausage, fish cake and chips for £5 (price at the time of writing this review) is another very good option to get.
Whenever the siblings go they get their quarter pounder with cheese and fried onions and their wings regularly.
The shop is always busy and the staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended place if you like your...
