I recently had the opportunity to visit Six Sixes with my colleagues for an office day out, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! This place offers a unique combination of net cricket and a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying drinks. The net cricket setup was perfect for someone like me who's not a cricket pro. It was a lot of fun swinging the bat and attempting to hit those virtual sixes. The staff was helpful in explaining the rules and making sure everyone had a good time. What stood out to me was the versatility of Six Sixes. It's not just a sports venue, but also a great hangout spot. The ambiance was lively and vibrant, making it equally suitable for office team-building or a casual get-together with friends. The drinks were good, and it added to the overall enjoyment of the day. Being a novice at both cricket and reviews, I can confidently say that Six Sixes exceeded my expectations. Whether you're an office-goer looking for a refreshing team outing or simply want to have a good time with friends, Six Sixes is definitely worth considering.

Compared to other virtual sports this was a terrible experience. You walk in, speak to a host and are told to just ‘hang around’ for 15 minutes as the game before has run over. Where do you hand around - not a single clue. Once allocated a cage a quick ‘put your name in here and start’ from the host no introduction into the game whatsoever nothing. Didn’t even ask had we been there before? A complete lack of enthusiasm and interest to be on shift. Once you start, you select your level, you press beginner and the ball comes out so fast you don’t get a chance to react and it’s from such a high point. The screen also lags as it loads. There was an extension cable and an Ethernet cable lingering over the outside of the cage too. So many things going on just made this such a terrible experience. This is such a shame as something that could’ve been so much better had there been a few adjustments and better customer service. Not impressed!

Sixes is a (appropriately named) interactive cricket themed bar. They have batting nets where you can have a go facing a virtual bowler at any level… which for me was beginner😅 The food here was pretty average but we sort of expected that as you come here for the experience rather than a fine dining culinary experience but flavour-wise we have no complaints. Just hoped for slightly larger portion sizes as my boyfriend ate half my chips (as well as his own!), so I did go rather hungry. The cocktails were lush! Especially the milkshake ones and reasonably priced too. We would both recommend this place as a good fun night out with friends. No cricket expertise required (take it from me) but also great fun for higher level players (take it from my boyfriend). Check out my insta @londons.best.bites for more! X

After a great experience at Sixes Great Portland Street, I was looking forward to taking my cricket-loving parents to this location closer to home as part of an early present.

Many of the problems encountered were likely due to understaffing (most of the servers were lovely and trying their best). But here's a few of the issues encountered on a Saturday around 11am.

After arriving on time, my party was told that we'd have to dine before batting (despite booking the other way around). Not a problem at all, but we were then told that our nets were actually ready, so batted first. I noticed that our "batting time" was already on countdown while my parents were being explained the rules by our host. Frustratingly, during our 45-minute batting session, the bowling machine faltered on numerous occasions - bowling (literally) no balls and pausing for "reloading balls" twice. When it failed reloading for a third time, we had to ask a member of staff to fix - and it was difficult to find someone to help as the two waiting staff were rushed off their feet. I'd guess that we lost around 7/8 minutes of our session due to these technical problems. When we started batting, a waiter said they would take our drinks order, but after no return we ended up having to order from the bar ourselves. Again, this wasn't a problem, however three drinks took over 10 mins to arrive at our table (arriving one by one), with the fourth and final drink arriving after we'd finished our game, and after us having to politely ask where it was. All the above was made much worse when, 5 minutes before our batting session finished, a member of staff - bearing in mind we'd found it hard to find staff to help prior - who had just started his shift, arrived to tell us that we'd have to leave the nets quickly and not hang about as there was a children's party playing after us, and that they were very busy. After I explained to him that we were slightly annoyed about being rushed off after losing nearly 10 minutes of play, he nonchalantly said that this was part and parcel of the technology; that staff could do nothing to improve the tech, and that he couldn't do much more to help. True, maybe. But I can't help but feel that we weren't getting what we paid for. Other issues later on included: ordered drinks (a pint of lager) not arriving during the meal, and the wrong bill being issued twice. I really can't fault the serving staff for the most part; they were extremely busy (as expected on a Saturday) but with not enough support. I love the concept of Sixes (and how it works at Great Portland Street) but can't help but feel there's more to come from this location, especially considering that I was only in a party of four and at the venue for...

I recently had the pleasure of playing Cricket at Sixes Shepherd's Bush and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional service provided by Meet and Sid. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, setting the tone for a wonderful evening.

Meet and Sid went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. They were incredibly attentive, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they provided excellent recommendations that made our Game truly memorable.

The Venue was outstanding, but it was the impeccable service that truly stood out. Meet and Sid’s professionalism, combined with their friendly and approachable demeanor, created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. They took the time to engage with us, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.

I cannot praise Meet and Sid enough for their dedication to delivering top-notch service. They are a credit to Sixes Shepherd's Bush and undoubtedly contributed to making our playing experience exceptional. I highly recommend visiting Sixes Shepherd's Bush and experiencing the outstanding service provided by...
