Somjuk Thai Cafe — Restaurant in London

Super little Thai cafe, offering a good selection of authentic Thai food, they offer a selection of lunch boxes as well as a great selection of dishes from the menu. They are in London road, near Waitrose, and opposite the police station, so don't miss them as they are away from the main little dining street. Definitely worth a visit for the excellent food, one of my favourite places for lunch when I'm in the area, or something to eat when I finish work and feel hungry, followed by a stroll...

Delivery was really disappointing. The red curry with prawns had barely any prawns in it and was very watery. Nothing of the usual creaminess to be found at all. The Massaman curry had a few potatoes, onions and chicken but lacked any taste. The Pad see iew was again very unsatisfactory and actually just tasted bad, so overall not recommended.

The Deliveroo menu is also different with more limited options than the in person menu. Maybe it's better with an actual visit but overall would...

First time trying under the new management/restaurant, I used to regularly visit this establishment when it was owned by the lovely Ray and Won and it was amazing then and I have to say, even more amazing now! We ordered 2 rice (sticky and egg fried) and 2 Curries (Thai Red chicken and Thai Yellow chicken) along with a Thai tea for the first time and the drink was unbelievably good. The food was fresh, flavourful with a decent hit of spice. Will definitely be ordering...
