I was completely appalled with my experience at Steak And Lobster. The food itself was fine but as a practicing muslim I was genuinely in shock the fact that not only was I given alcohol after ordering a specific non alcoholic drink. The most ridiculous part of it was when I asked the member of staff if they’re sure that this is my drink as I was in a group of five and it was only my drink that had arrived the waiter asked what I ordered as it wasnt the same woman who served me and I replied raspberry and lychee making it clear non alcoholic as it didnt seem like the one I ordered and he replied yes. Once I took a sip it didn’t taste right and I knew this as I have been to various branches and ordered the same drink before. I had told my family member who I was with that this didnt taste right and not only did they drink and spit it out they told me it was alcohol. Again as a praciticing Muslim I have never had it and genuinely didn’t know if she was right so we asked our waitress as everyone I was with also told me it’s alcohol. When she came this was before management got involved she told me I knew exactly what I ordered and knew there was alcohol which was ironic as she herself came out and informed us that there was alcohol in one of the sauces and we immediately thanked her and changed it to something halal. After management got involved I dont feel it made a difference as I recieved another drink but was so anxious to drink it. Not only that I was still billed for the drink which did not sit right with me and . I felt like I disappointed myself by even trusting such a place and felt impure and upset after having a drink which was not my fault and barely enjoyed my food. After this I was still expected to pay for my meal full price after refusing to pay service charge. I will be telling everyone of my experience as I have lost complete faith in your branches despite the manager trying to be sympathetic but to no avail. I had never expected this from your establishment and wasnt even given an apology from the staff members only attitude apart from...

I had a very disappointing experience at Steak and Lobster. I made use of an offer which was advertised for residents of the Radisson Hotel attached to the restaurant. The offer provided a free half bottle of wine and I was asked what I wanted by the waiter, after some confusion about the offer, and when I asked what was available he suggested the Malbec which I accepted. As half bottles aren't available I was given it in two glasses, but halfway through the first glass I was effectively told off by another waiter for choosing the Malbec when the offer only covered house wine. My explanation that I was offered the Malbec feel on deaf ears and I was told the second glass would be house wine. It then became apparent that my order, despite being placed shortly after sitting down, had never reached the kitchen. This resulted in a 40 minute wait for the steak, during which communication from the waiting staff was minimal and an apology was only forthcoming when I suggested one might be appropriate. When the steak finally arrived I also suggested they might want to review the bill when it was presented. When I received the bill no adjustment had been made, and when I raised this with the waiter who had scolded me over the incorrect wine he told me he had already let me off the cost of the Malbec. When I explained that that wasn't my error he simply told me to not pay the service charge. For the sake of brevity, I eventually negotiated 20% off the food with the manager, which I wasn't particularly happy with but it was clear I wouldn't get anymore.

I don't normally leave negative reviews, and if the matter had been resolved correctly I wouldn't have shared this detail. The only saving grace of the whole meal was that the steak was excellent, I really enjoyed the food. But the level of service, communication and general attitude of the staff that work at Steak and Lobster...

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST. On here there are some good reviews but this does NOT reflect the actual experience of the restaurant. I went there for a birthday dinner, It started off with no one even bothering to greet or seat me or any of my guests. Staff clearly saw me and some of my guests waiting by the desk to be acknowledged/ seated however each member of staff completely ignored us and continued pretending to look busy.

Eventually one of my guests approached one of the members of staff and our table was POINTED out to us. After this NOT ONE member of staff came over to introduce themselves, to see if we were ok or advise us on the arrangements of our pre-orders.

After a long while waiting on the table not knowing what was going on, I approached a member of staff who seemed to be either the manager or the supervisor. Who eventually introduced me to the waiter who was ‘supposed’ managing my table. He looked just as confused as I was.

At the bar there was only one bar staff and one traniee. Which meant that ordering and receiving a drink took around 20-25 mins each time.

Each member of staff at this restaurant either looked absolutely confused as though they had no idea what they were doing or unbothered avoiding eye contact at all cost.

This was supposed to be special dinner with my loved ones however this was completely ruined by unapproachable, incompetent staff and soulless environment. If your thinking of going her for a special dinner THINK AGAIN. If you’re looking for a steak place with excellent customer service I recommend going to STK, GAUCHO’s or THE BANC.

I will be taking this further and have requested that I am advised on the complaints procedure.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR...

We were looking for a casual steak place (a family of 7) and came across Steak & Lobster. We didn’t have very high expectations due to such late availability but the reviews were good so we decided to go for it. The food was very good - steaks were cooked accurately much like rival expensive steak houses and the choices of kids dishes were very good (£14 for 5/6oz steak and chips or broccoli is a much nicer than paying £24 in L’entrecote and have the kid not finish his meal). A good word is due for both our waitress Nelum and Hassan the smiley manager. The service was impeccable and our needs were well heard. We commented that the half lobster in the surf & turf which my wife and I shared was a tad small (with no request for compensation or a hint of complaint at all) and Hassan brought us another half on the house - these small gestures really makes one’s meal. Nelum was patient with the small kids and very attentive, was great! We dined with 20% discount promo which brings the prices to a reasonable range, alternatively at £36 for a sirloin and £34 for a Ribeye it’s a bit steep but you get a generous portion (with chips a couple of onion rings and lettuce). In conclusion - nice place, a shame it wasn’t more busy but definitely worth it and the great attitude and service really made our night!

Steak & Lobster Warren Street offered us delightful dining experience that balanced quality cuisine with commendable service. Firstly, the service stood out during our visit. Despite arriving nearly 30 minutes late due to traffic in Soho, a quick call to the restaurant ensured our reservation was adjusted without hassle. I usually panick when I am late but the quick resolution by the team helped us well. Secondly, the food was impressive across the board. We started with the beef rolls, accompanied by a dipping sauce—likely a blend of soy and sweet soy—that was so delectable I used it with other dishes as well. My wife was giving me a surprised look seeing me use that sauce with the fries. The full lobster was a highlight; it was easy to break open, allowing us to enjoy the succulent meat without struggle, unlike experiences at other establishments. The wagyu burger was cooked to perfection, and the heirloom tomato feta salad provided a fresh and tangy balance to our meal. In addition, the ambiance, though simple, does justice to the food it serves. Finally, while the overall experience was positive, the premium pricing may be a consideration for some. However, given the quality of food and service, this Steak & Lobster location is an excellent choice for work dinners or special occasions.
