We wanted to try Uyghur food and I found this place on Google as it was fairly close by and convenient for us all. It was a family and friends catch up. It was an opportunity for us to try a range of dishes. We ordered several noodle dishes, the lamb pilaf, the meat pie, lamb skewers and cucumber salad. All of it was really good. A few of the noodle dishes were quite spicy but we expected this. We didn't dare order the signature dried chilli laghman as that had 5 chillis! :) The lamb was very good, although I would have liked to have seen more lamb dishes, such as lamb and noodles or boiled lamb. The big plate chicken was really good, the chicken was very tender. We tried a variety of noodles and each dish was very tasty and freshly cooked. Our friend ordered the Uyghur tea which came in a big pot. It was salty, which I wasn't used to, although my friend liked it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the manager gave us complimentary rice pudding which was so creamy and delicious. Also I liked that they gave complimentary lemon and mint water. The restaurant was really clean and tidy. Overall it's a great find near Warren Street and we had a great time with good company and good food. I highly...

The rice with lamb and carrots was fragrant, perfectly seasoned, and the lamb was tender and juicy. The addition of sautéed vegetables and noodles gave it a comforting, home-cooked feel while still tasting rich and special.
The spicy stir-fry with celery, tofu skin, and noodles had a bold, addictive kick with a depth of flavor that kept me going back for more. Each bite had the perfect balance of heat, spice, and texture.
To finish, the layered cream cake topped with a fresh strawberry was heavenly—light, creamy, and just sweet enough to be the perfect ending to such a flavorful meal.

We had an incredible meal at Dolan Uyghur Cuisine — easily one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in London. The flavors were bold, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The hand-pulled noodles were a standout: perfectly chewy and served with rich, spiced lamb that melted in the mouth. The polo (Uyghur rice with lamb and carrots) was beautifully fragrant and authentic, and the samsa pastries were hot, flaky, and packed with juicy filling.
Beyond the food, the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. They took time to explain the dishes and shared a bit about Uyghur culture, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The decor is vibrant, cozy, and inviting — a perfect setting whether you’re new to Central Asian cuisine or already a fan.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore something unique and delicious. We’ll...
