My teenage daughter found this place somewhere while browsing her phone and at first when she mentioned it I thought it sounds like a gimmick. Maybe there is some gimmick to it, but the end product is super delicious pasta which great consistency and flavor! I loved it.
With all the very interesting options you will see at Camden Market, it is likely easy to overlook this one, but I would advise to give it a shot! The guys working were great, and will likely offer a quick free sample if you aren’t sure.
There aren’t any places to sit immediately next to this shop, but close by there are some dome things with tables inside where you need to be bold and just grab whatever available space there is. It comes off that Parmesan wheel extra-messy-cheesy and you have your own pick of extra cheese and seasonings and styles of sauce. Read moreI went to the cheese wheel today following great past experience. However, I have been strongly disappointed!! For 9£, you get fresh pasta with a lot of olive oil and no taste of parmegiani Regianno which is supposed to be the whole concept. They used to cook the pasta in the Parmesan wheel and now they cook in a pan with a lot and a lot of olive oil and through it in the Parmesan wheel for the magic of it! Great economy for them as they can keep the Parmesan wheel longer !! Please sell it as fresh pasta and not pasta in a Parmesan wheel as there were not more cheese in the Parmesan wheel! They for sure won’t see me anymore !! Too bad as I previously recommended their place to a lot...
