I probably visited Kings Arms at least 10 times while I adventured around London. Firstly, the service was fantastic and experience was impeccable, secondly Kings Arms was convenient to flat I was staying at. So it was winning all around in my opinion. The fellas working there were very friendly and made me feel right at home. On my initial visit I was outed as a visitor, probably due to my American accent? But nonetheless, I admitted my travels and visit and was instantly welcomed.

I ordered a Gin and Tonic and quickly noted that an English GnT was much different than what I'd experienced in the USA. The bartender took the time and explained that a proper GnT could be accented by using various garnishments to bring out notes in the different flavor bouquets of different Gins. He brought down a few gins from the shelf and pointed out the notes. This was my first foray into quality gin. Now, at home I have my own gin bar. The only exception is that I cannot find Thomas Henry stateside and stuck with Fever Tree.

Aside from the alcohol beverage educations I'd receive nightly, the Kings Arms was always clean, lively, and the staff always friendly, even at the end of the night when they were obligated to send us home. I even went so far as to bring my travel companions there for a few visits.

I forgot to include, I met a friendly chap by the name of Phillip who worked for a software company. He said he was a frequent patron of the place and knew the bar staff. Thank you all for...

Well I think it’s safe to say that we have found our new favourite place to eat and drink in London! We came as a party of 15 including 5 children we were slightly worried as a big party can be issue for some places! We felt so welcome and relaxed as soon as we arrived.. being a big party was not an issue at all.. we grabbed some drinks and sat down to decide on food.. it was busy but we didn’t feel like we were in the way as a big group.. food ordered at the bar job done! Came out quick but not too quick that we felt that we were being rushed, I had a roast which was INCREDIBLE! The yorkshires were just out of this world! And my children are still talking about the popcorn chicken they had. The kids also loved the board games! The atmosphere and the interior were just fantastic! Lovely lovely staff who were were accommodating came and cleared the table and chatted! we stayed for a while longer drinking and chatting but again we didn’t feel that were in the way! Finished off with some cocktails which were absolutely gorgeous! Food and drinks we found reasonably priced for a London venue. Massive huge thanks to the wonderful Georgia who was just completely awesome and made our night, an absolute treasure of a human who made our visit so special! We came up to London from Cambridgeshire for a visit and to celebrate a special anniversary, and we really couldn’t have found a better place for this!! I’m already planning another visit and...

I attended as I usually do on a weekly basis to attend for Rib Tuesday I placed my order with a blonde lady who was polite took order and payment and made us feel welcome. However the story takes a turn for the worse when the Brown/Dark Hair lady who came to serve the food however as soon as she appeared. She looked very miserable and came across very rude which made myself and group very uncomfortable. When the food was presented the plate was slammed on the table alongside the wipes. After slamming the food on the table she began to storm back off back into the kitchen to which she was polities to asked for sauce. Without questioning anybody else in the group and catering and giving good customer service asking if anybody else would like sauce she seem to of had a bad reaction to someone asking for sauce. She then reappeared from the kitchen and basically threw the sauce onto the table and stormed off. At this point I wanted to leave as I felt very uncomfortable likewise with the group of 4 I was with we was going to request a refund however due to attending regularly we decided to eat and not cause commotion. Whilst eating the food whilst in discussion every time someone made eye contact there seemed to be some sort of "evil eyes" towards us. I normally enjoy the experience when inside The Kings Arms however on this occasion I didn't, however I did...

Summary: Gorgeous interior. Amazing attentive staff. Wide range of beers. Exceptional food menu. So many board games to choose from. All persons welcome and cherished. Context: As soon as I walked into this charming pub I was greeted at the bar by a welcoming greeting from staff (Chloe), who after my request to try some samples of their extensive beer collection also encouraged other punters to try before you buy to result in a beer you love. This refreshing behaviour brought me onto purchasing a beer I had never tasted before. When I went back for another, a friendly member of staff (Jacob) was attentive and charming which also warmed me to the already homely environment. I was so impressed by this gorgeous pub I couldn't resist taking pictures when I ran into the owners (Robin) who I engaged in a chat with about the local environment and invited me to the local quiz night. In my own experience of spending 21 years in London, it is not often you experience such a warm welcome within a diverse community of pub going lovers to feel so at home. The atmosphere is a mixture of cosy and vibrant. I would go out my way to become a regular here to feel part of an inclusive family. No matter who you are, your background, or what inevitably amazing stories you have: There will always be someone here to listen and  chat when the moment suits you. Cannot recommend enough.

The Kings Arms is the bench mark for a Sunday Sirloin Roast lunch - I've been sampling Sunday Roast Beef lunches for decades across the UK and the Sunday Roast Beef at The Kings Arm is undoubtedly still the best I've tasted! Their Sunday roast beef was once again excellent. The roast beef was thick cut and cooked to perfection (medium rare), as always, with plenty of vegetables, roast potatoes and a large Yorkshire pudding, (or if you're like me and rather have extra veg instead of the Yorkshire pudding). There's extra gravy, horseradish sauce etc for the taking. They have outdoor seating, but the majority of seating is indoors. The staff are top notch and go out of their way to accommodate you. The interior is quite dark, but the decor is very eclectic, warm and welcoming. It's advisable booking, as they are justifiably popular and very busy.
