My local and as a regular user, they know me. A couple of the staff are really friendly and know my order as soon as I arrive. One member of staff is always brusque -- she probably doesnt intend to be, but it is how she comes across --customer service is important and so is feedback.
They are busy, but the coffee is usually good and worth the wait. So there should have been no excuse today, for my coffee to be of poor quality and cold. I threw it away. The "brusque lady" threw a napkin at me, although I had politely asked for it. Read moreUsed to be such a nice little coffee spot. Coffee is generally too acidic, but the baked goods and crepes made up for it.
Recently though, staff seems clueless: regularly getting even basic orders wrong, crepes so baked they are crackers (because they lack the tools or training to make them quickly), selling Nutella crepes and realise long after the order is taken that they don’t actually have any, out of napkins….
A general sense of shell shock basically.
Shame, hope they get their act...
