The Loose Box — Restaurant in London

Although the food was quite good, everything else was definitely below average. The staff was borderline rude, they took a very long to deliver our order though the place wasn't very busy, we (a group of four) had to ask for some condiments for our burgers with chips and we were only given a portion good enough for one person. The cutlery was poorly washed and one particular knife was very visibly soiled like it hadn't even been rinsed properly if not washed. The menu was very limited too. The staff offer professional service and the establishment seems clean and spacious, even when busy. Unfortunately the selection of meals and drinks is quite limited and on my last visit they were sold out of many of my choices. One thing that I found exceptional was that, although they had a problem with the lemonade on tap, one staff member actually went to the local shop to purchase some just to make the bitter shandy which I requested. We used The Loose Box for a private hire fundraising charity event and the team were great! It is a lovely spacious venue with screens around the room and a lovely long bar along one wall. There was plenty chairs and tables for everyone with it not feeling overcrowded! Everyone who was working on the evening were absolutely lovely and attended to our attendees with patience and respect!
