True Colours Laundry – A One-of-a-Kind Spot in the Heart of London
Tucked away in Westminster at 13 Regency Place, True Colours Laundry isn’t just a place to get your clothes washed – it’s a unique, community-focused business that effortlessly blends local London life with the buzz of international visitors. Whether you’re a long-time resident or a tourist passing through, you’ll find more than just clean clothes here – you’ll find warmth, care, and genuine connection.
Under new management, True Colours has become a standout spot thanks to the energy and vision of its new owner, Jack – a young gentleman whose presence is already being felt in all the right ways. Jack brings a rare mix of kindness, intelligence, and patience, along with a modern approach that respects both tradition and innovation. He’s someone who genuinely listens, takes his time with customers, and goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and well taken care of. His fresh ideas are helping shape the future of the business while still holding onto the warmth and personal touch that locals have always loved.
But what truly brings this place to life is Cloudia, one of the most beloved members of the team. A proud mother and a highly experienced professional, she brings a level of care and dedication that’s impossible to miss. With a background in managing people and deep experience in customer service, Cloudia does far more than handle laundry – she builds relationships. She is known for listening to people, supporting them, and always being ready to help, no matter how big or small the request.
Whether it’s helping a tourist who just arrived with a suitcase full of washing, or a neighbour who’s been coming for years, Cloudia makes everyone feel like they matter. Her ability to connect, her practical know-how, and her natural warmth make her a central figure in the business – and someone many people return to see again and again.
The space itself is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. Machines are well-maintained, and services are handled efficiently and with great care. Jack and Cloudia have created a place where people feel at ease, knowing their garments are in good hands – and where they’re treated not just as customers, but as part of a community.
In a busy city like London, it’s rare to find a laundry business that stands out not just for quality service, but for the kindness and humanity behind it. True Colours is just that – a little gem where your clothes get spotless and your day gets a little brighter.
If you’re in the area and need laundry services – whether a quick wash, pressing, or full-service care – don’t hesitate to stop by. You’ll be met with a smile, excellent service, and the kind of atmosphere that’s becoming increasingly rare in...

What makes this place amazingly special (and 6 star worthy) is the lady Claudia that works there. I was reading reviews this morning to ensure they had all of the things I noted (listed above) and needed, and kept reading reviews about her. Figured "how nice could she possibly be?" - turns out THE NICEST. EVER.
I frequent laundromats while traveling and have never stayed a second longer then required. I feel I could of stood there all day chatting with her - we chatted long past my clothing finishing. I was up all night working on something stressful, went at 7am in a horrible mood and she completely brightened my day. She is so sweet, kind, funny and has fantastic stories and insights - it was truly a pleasure.
I really hope she sees all these reviews online and realizes how much people appreciate her and how something as simple as a meaningful, fun conversation while you wash your clothes can change your day. It was a really memorable experience and I feel weird potentially leaving London having to explain to everyone why my favourite part of the trip was washing my clothes...
Had a lovely time this morning Claudia and it was a pleasure to meet you. You're a very...
Read moreHad a snafu with our rented flat's washing machine, and this was relatively close to where we were staying and it opened very early, so it worked well with breakfast at the nearby Regency Cafe. We walked in with two carry-ons of dirty laundry, and met Claudia and explained our situation. She said no problem and told us it would cost 16 GBP since it was 2 loads. I thought that fair since I was in an emergency and we didn't have soap, or time to do it ourselves, frankly. She would have had them done that afternoon but I told her if it was okay to pick it up tomorrow since we had planned activities. No problem, she said. Anyway, her name is Claudia and she was so very nice. Laundry was washed, folded, and put back in our carry-ons. 16 GBP as promised. Oh, and when we picked up the laundry - we had literally missed the Queen by 5 minutes because Prince Phillip's memorial at Westminster just ended, and her car drove right in front of the place. Anyway, couldn't find this place to review on TripAdvisor, so I wanted to make sure I gave this place its...
