Enjoyed a really lovely dinner here at this lovely family-run restaurant. Prices are reasonable (the price I've listed per person included cocktails and a dessert) and it's so nice to have a new addition to the local area. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with good music, lovely decoration and really friendly and welcoming service. The cocktails are delicious - and strong! I had the El Alfa and would definitely recommend. Ask for the cocktail menu for a breakdown of the ingredients of all the drinks and more information about the story behind each of them! For food I had the spinach and chicken curry, which had amazing flavour but wasn't too spicy. I'd also really recommend getting the mint chutney on the side which added a little more spice and a lovely flavour. Desserts were also great - I had the chocolate pudding and my partner had the waffles which came with a generous selection of sauces. All in all we had a lovely evening and look forward to...
Read moreThe food is absolutely amazing in this treasure of a place run by a husband and wife. The food is a mainly Pakistani with some Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 options The flavour that comes out of every dish is mouth watering There is a wide range of Dominican Rum options with generic options also. The focus on bringing the two cultures together has been done really well. There is Dominican music playing throughout the day and Dionis who owns the place is super friendly and chatty. This place brings so much liveliness and culture to the area and there is also peace and tranquility for those times you want a coffee or a snack The coffee is amazing and is also Domincan and it's so much more superior than any high street generic brand. Parties can also be hosted here and closed events which is great
I love this place and can't recommend it enough, for the food, the people and the...
Read moreWhat a fantastic Friday evening! I had been intrigued walking past this restaurant so booked a table for six people, and was so so pleased I did!!! After a lovely welcome we had a Dominican cocktail each - all of which were wonderful and made with real care. We then shared some Dominican Nachos which were superb. For the main courses we had six Pakistani dishes, all of which were excellent - not sure if the chicken/spinach or the lamb meatball dish was better! There was a larger wine selection than we expected and it was priced really fairly. We finished with a coffee that was absolutely exceptional. To add to all of this there was a great vibe to the place with excellent service.
I'm so pleased I work around the corner, I'll be popping in for lunch in the next few weeks!
Thanks for a great...
