Five-Star Customer Service for Veronica at Pizza Room Hackney! I accidentally placed an order with the Hackney branch when I meant to order from the Mile End branch. Realising the mix-up, I called the Hackney location and spoke with Veronica, and I’m so glad I did. She was incredibly understanding and kind, reassuring me that mistakes happen and that it was no trouble at all. After a quick phone call, she let us know that we could collect our pizzas from the Mile End branch free of charge. We were blown away by her professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help. I don't mind paying £38 for 2 pizzas if it's worthwhile. But my partner and I had been looking forward to coming here since moving to Hackney... and it was a very average experience at a non-average price. On the menu, you are offered to upgrade your 12" pizza 'to 14" to offer more room for toppings' - unfortunately this isn't the case. We paid £2.50 extra for more dough, with some cheese illiberally sprinkled in the centre. My pizza (the special) had a good flavour but the butternut squash was hard and crunchy. We were looking for a nice place for dinner and found the pizza room near our hotel, I wanted some salad but since they are still new the protein salad was not available but Katy made sure to direct me to a salad options which was ‘make your own’ and ended up with a bed of rocket topped up with nicely toasted walnuts and marinated artichoke, the pizzas are made in stone oven by Simone and is very tasty, our son wanted ice cream as he saw it on the menu but the freezer is not there yet instead they made for him a special Nutella pizza which was super yummy ( a cherry on top!) both Kate and Simone are very pleasant and courteous…highly recommended new pizza place and a...
