The Refinery New Street Square — Restaurant in London

Those of us that do occasionally drink here, we do so for one reason... It's next to our office! And given the size of the office blocks surrounding New Street Square, they could probably pour pints of dishwater and still get punters through the door... How lazy we are! The service? Wow! And I mean that... Wow, it is so bad. When it's busy, I have been know to walk to other local establishments and walk back with my beers! 'it's convenient', my less well informed colleagues argue. It's terrible, I reply. Even when the bar is empty will take a very long time to get served. Don't believe me, pop in and try for yourself. The lunchtime food and service is fine (that bumped the score up to 3). The floor is solid, it has a staircase and if raining it will keep you dry. Other than that, Im struggling...

Never again! We had our work Xmas lunch here. Possibly the worst venue to hold it at and I would recommend that you avoid this place at all costs! We were crammed in together like sardines, we waited over an hour for our first drink and then our food and drinks were chaotically served with huge intervals, and we had to effectively serve our own food, drinks and cutlery as there was no space for the waiters to pass through our tables, amongst many other issues! Clearly the venue wanted to pack as many people in to make the most money. Highly regret it and we will not be returning again for a Christmas lunch and I will not be recommending this venue in the future. Extremely disappointed and spoiled our Christmas party for 30 plus...

I had a wonderful experience at Refinery restaurant during my recent visit with my colleagues. This charming establishment offers a lovely atmosphere and delectable food. My personal favorite is the grilled salmon, which is always cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes with seaweed add a unique and delightful twist that I can't get enough of.

Moreover, the customer service at Refinery is consistently top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and truly goes the extra mile to ensure a pleasant dining experience. It's clear that they prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of their guests.
