British Land decided they were leaving too much money on the table letting all the food trucks serve people interesting, edible food at acceptable prices, so they chased them out and created this wall of corporate pop up mediocrity instead. My "umami chicken" sandwich for £6.50 had been premade and was seemingly under a heat lamp. Think masses of whitebready supermarket ciabatta, with a too few completely plain chicken breast pieces with a bit of `chili mayo' squirted on inside, and a few pickled daikon cubes. British catering circa 2002 at its finest. You're better off going to EAT which is at least honest about what it's doing and costs less. I would add some chorizo to it though, the tang would complement the zing. They also sell doughnuts from St John Bakery, which are legendary. The coffee at Yolk is excellent. I struggle to find good Americanos, but this one was great. It would be nice if there was more indoor seating as the outdoor seating is not ideal on a cold day. I will be back to try the other breakfast pots and the...
