Our family had an absolute fabulous time staying for 3 weeks at Supercity Chronicle (our first time) with the concierge service of Mirela and Ayaan at the front desk. We had previously stayed at Cove, SACO apartments which are similar serviced apartments so we had reference stays to compare to. Our verdict -- Our first time at Supercity Chronicle and will be returning for sure again after our experience.|The apt was clean, modern, spacious, and had all the amenities needed for long term stay. Both Mirela and Ayaan were terrific and tended to our questions, needs perfectly.|The location is super convenient to MS, TEsco, Boots and we were able to walk conveniently to Leicster, Chinatown, Oxford. On the weekends the area is super quiet as during weekdays it's a busy work area so the quietness was nice.|We loved having 24/7 concierge as it puts us at ease in case anything shall come up. We really enjoyed interacting with Mirela and Ayaan and they're the reason we feel comfortable and welcomed here and would be looking ot return for our next visit.|One thing to note that this appears to be frequented by students who study at LSE nearby so depending on the students guests, it may feel a bit like college dorm (in terms of noise) but both Mirela and Ayaan were quick to address our concerns when we had a rather loud guest staying next door to us.|We will definitely be looking to return here for our returning...
Read moreCould have been better - small tweaks needed. Positives: really lovely friendly staff. Great having all the facilities (dishwasher, microwave, washing machine etc). Really well stocked with kitchen equipment etc. Plenty of space and able to work as well as relax. Good location, convenient for tube, local shops restaurants etc. Minus - do not stay in rooms 103, 104, 105. These are directly above a pub and very noisy. Took me a couple of nights to realise the noise was coming from below my room not noisy neighbours. Pub does close at 11 which is a blessing. Sash windows and no double glazing. Noise from the street travels. Couldn’t work out the radio - no instructions and display appeared to be in German! TV can’t be viewed from the bed (there is a sofa though). TV only lets you cast another device. Took a bit of working out. Temperature control in the room is ineffective. The bathroom and corridors out side of the rooms are unbelievably hot. I would not stay here between may - sept for fear of heatstroke. In summary, I would return but only in cooler months and only if I could avoid rooms 103-105 (and any others...
Read moreMy wife and I visited London in September and stayed at The Chronicle on Norwich Street for about 9 nights. It was our first time staying at an apartment/hotel and the first time at a Supercity Aparthotel. It won't be our last time! We very very pleased with the cleanliness of our room and many amenities ranging from cooktop to dishwasher to fridge. It had everything 2 people could need. Although a lot smaller than the hotels we've stayed at in North America, the space we had at The Chronicle was ideal for our needs. The property is located close to many eateries, transportation modes and famous London sites. VERY safe. We want to highlight the help and support we received from the great front desk staff. In particular, we want to thank Marina. From our first moments to our last in the hotel, she helped us and guided us during our visit in the most pleasant and competent ways. In addition, there were two other fellows - sadly, we did not get their names - who helped us during some days, evenings and weekends Each of these 3 wonderful people added to our most enjoyable visit. Thank you Supercity...
