Tosi Gorgonzola — Restaurant in London

This is the second time we’ve been to Tosi Gorgonzola. We returned after the first time because we saw they had a happy hour deal 3-6pm Wednesday-Friday. On the sign outside their bar, it said it was 2 glasses of wine or beer for the price of 1. When we went to pay, the waitress told us the happy hour offer only applied to the first few pages of the menu, which was not explicitly advertised or told to us. Apparently she had mentioned it to the couple next to us, but not to us directly. My partner only told me after he had paid, so I didn’t have a chance to argue the false advertisement. It honestly left a foul taste in my mouth. In the 3 hours we were there, we were one of 3 couples who visited, which makes sense as to why they failed to leave out the fine print of their happy hour deal. Clearly they need the money. We had enjoyed our first time there, but we are hesitant to return given that they failed to tell us the full details of their advertised (on board) happy hour special. Hope no one else falls...

I organised an aperitivo with a large group of Italian colleagues and we found this place blissful, all of us (and we are picky 😅). The place is very stylish with a warm feel, food and wine is all produced locally in Italy, all the Gorgonzolas are out of this world (especially the very soft one, but do try the truffle one too), let alone the Fontina, and Castelmagno. The Nebbiolo excellent. Fabrizio is a rockstar, he made us feel at home, shared all the passion they have for their products and land. Anastasia is another superstar and managed the service brilliantly, we didn’t even have to ask for stuff that it had already appeared...even accounting was fun. Both are super welcoming and hilarious. We had a great time and we cannot wait...

The staff are so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We enjoyed some delicious Italian wines, which were expertly recommended to us by Fabi. Tosi Bar has an excellent wine list, with something for all tastes and budgets. The cured meat selection and cheese selection are both delicious, with generous servings. We sat outside, overlooking the green square, late into the evening. The service was attentive, while also giving us privacy. A perfect summer evening in Farringdon. Thank you Fabi...
