Located in the heart of Covent Garden, this quaint little establishment boasts an impressive array of delectable ice creams that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Despite its charm, it's worth noting that the overall experience can be somewhat compromised by the bustling crowds, leading to a sense of haste in service. However, with a few improvements to the menu and its presentation, this gem has the potential to enhance customer satisfaction through enhanced clarity and visibility.
Situated in such a vibrant location, the popularity of this place is undeniable, drawing in a considerable number of eager patrons. Consequently, the demand can lead to a slight sense of rush, as the staff work diligently to serve each customer promptly. While their efficiency is commendable, it would be beneficial for the establishment to explore strategies to mitigate the feeling of haste, ensuring that each visitor can fully savor the experience at a more relaxed pace.
One aspect that could greatly enhance the overall customer experience is the menu. Currently, it might benefit from some improvements to make it more user-friendly and easier to navigate. Perhaps a redesign or reorganization could be considered, allowing for better comprehension and reducing the need for a second glance at the screen. This way, patrons can make their choices with ease, enhancing their overall satisfaction and eliminating any potential confusion.
Nonetheless, if you find yourself in the vicinity, this place is undoubtedly worth a visit.
In conclusion, while there are areas for improvement, such as addressing the rushed atmosphere and refining the menu's visibility, this small ice cream shop in Covent Garden remains a must-visit for ice cream aficionados.

Read moreBeata, the lady who served me, treated me like I was family. I loved her vibe! I’ve been a customer and a fan of Venchi for years and years. Their Cremino gelato and chocolate is a masterclass in flavour balance. The chocolate hazelnut slabs have the best quality of hazelnuts ever put in chocolate, not soggy, they have a good bite. The thing I love about Venchi the most is how subtle the sweetness of the milk chocolate is, which can easily be too sweet, but not Venchi. They know how to get the balance right. I know I sound like their brand spokesperson but I promise you, I’m not paid by Venchi or associated with the business. I just genuinely love what they do.
I gave 4/5 for the atmosphere simply because there’s no place to sit, it’s a small shop in the crowded Covent Garden market, but they do have another branch nearby if you want to sit down.
The only thing they did recently that annoyed me is that they stopped one type of their chocolate spread with olive oil. That was to die for! When I asked why it stopped they said because customers complained about the olive oil separating and surfacing on top. Customers who complain about this don’t know a good spread from a bad one. Venchi should’ve used those interactions to educate those customers or at least make the spread available with a warning or sell it online for many people, like me, who know that the oil separates because the spread is made from natural ingredients and all you need to do is to give it a couple of turns with a soon to mix back in before you use it.
They have another spread with olive oil and vegetable oil, but it doesn’t have the same taste or texture, still better of course than other supermarket brands, which are too sweet, but it’s not the same as that olive oil version. Bring it back, Venchi!...
Read moreYesterday we went there for an ice cream after the show and I have to say it was a huge disappointment! We always have ice cream at Venchi and we've tried it many times ( here and other stores too). However yesterday I was shocked. When we finally got at the till, I asked for the pistachio ice cream, as we always have it. The supervisor (Mariam) said they don't have it and LITERALLY laughed in my face. No apologise, no excuses, absolutely nothing- I have noticed she was very rude to all clients and had a very negative attitude. At that point I said I don't want it anymore, as we were all going to have only pistachio . She looked at me and laughed again. My daughter almost burst into tears as she loves that ice cream. Obviously the situation was quite embarrassing and another staff member (Krishna) understood and kindly offered to bring a new tray of pistachio ice cream - they Obviously had it, just that Mariam couldn't be bothered to replace it. How do you even hire and promote this kind of people? You should really reconsider and retrain your staff! People don't go there to pay almost £10 for an ice cream and be treated in such a disrespectful way by the staff! I was there for a while and I was literally shocked by the way she spoke and treated the customers, she was annoyed and unhappy to be there and obviously didn't bother to hide it. On top of that, many of the ice cream flavours were completely melted, I am not sure if there was an issue with the freezer, as it wasn't that hot during the day. And also they only had dark chocolate coins but didn't even bother to inform or ask if people were OK with that. It's a shame we had to experience this, as Venchi was our favourite ice cream place, but we'll definitely reconsider it at this point. You really should...
