Lovely market but a shame the watch/camera seller is a rude person with ridiculous prices.
I have collected watches for many years and run a small watch store myself. Like many others at the table I had picked up an item I was interested in. I wound the watch once to see if it ran, knowing this causes no harm to the watch.
The seller shouted quite loudly at me saying “oi, no need to wind it runs fine” causing everyone around to stare at me. There were no signs saying not to wind or touch them.
I asked the price and was told was £250 for a cheap, non-military issue Timor with damaged lume and dial. Not even in the same style as the more desirable ATP model. It was worth in the region of £25-75, and I’d expect to be priced maybe £150 tops for negotiations and margins-sake (as many are online).
I appreciate prices are higher in this area but take your money to Jubilee market and get a stunning Nivada Grenchen Valjoux from a much nicer human being for...

The surrounding piazza is always buzzing with energy, thanks to talented street performers who bring music, comedy, and acrobatics to life. It’s impossible not to stop and enjoy the show. Sure, it can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, but that’s part of its charm.
We visited on Christmas evening, and the festive decorations were absolutely stunning. Twinkling lights, festive garlands, and the iconic Covent Garden Christmas tree made the whole market feel like something out of a storybook. The atmosphere was warm and magical, with carolers and performers adding to the holiday spirit. It was a truly pleasant and memorable experience.

Read moreThis is the Apple Market in London, but actually no one there is selling apple nor apple juice nor apple pie.
Yes, this market is a place for many craftsmen to express and display their talents in creating handmade art and design. I was surprised at how nice and neat the items were made. Many visitors come to this market, most of them come to see how good and beautiful the craft is sold there.
This market is surrounded by shops that sell souvenirs, shoes, bags, sweets, and even hot chocolate from Belgium. Many cafes and restaurants are waiting for you to come and enjoy lunch there. When you go downstairs, it looks like there is an Italian restaurant that is very full of visitors in it. I like sitting in the lobby outside the restaurant while listening to a woman singing opera music and selling their sound...
