Despite the pleasant ambiance of this coffee shop, I believe the customer experience is extremely poor. I have not encountered this at other branches, but for this particular location, I would consider it a "no go."

I had purchased a sandwich, dessert, and a drink, and was looking for a place to sit. Since there was no available seating, I opted for take away. Given the rainy weather, sitting outside was not an option. When a spot inside became available, I asked if I could switch from take away to dine-in. Having already paid, the cashier, in a rather robotic manner, informed me that I would need to pay the difference.

I understand that this is the policy, but to process the difference, the cashier cancelled my entire transaction and said they would charge me again. Although I accepted this, it took 4-5 minutes, during which most of the available seats were taken. While I was checking the refunded amount, the cashier mentioned that it would take 3-4 business days for the refund to be processed.

So, for a difference of 2 GBP, I waited 4-5 minutes for the transaction to be adjusted and was informed that the refund would take several days to process, while the same amount was charged to my account again.

Honestly, I am not sure if I would return. I hope this approach is limited to this...
