Revievs have to be fake. Take a look at the lackluster amateur website for instance Clearly, no info. Clearly did not take advantage of bounce back loans. Place is run down, dirty, obismal staff. Owner who is aggressive and has short man syndrome needs to wake up and get a grip and understand custom is keeping him afloat. Well not In my case as we put money into kfc next door and Mr singhs newsagent and took our own drinks. No bar tissues, instead given blue roll. Toilets stank of sewer. What fully stocked bar??? Didn't even have henny/vos. Cheap wine/prosecco from tesco doesn't cut it dear. Doorman socially inept eating fish n chips as he spewed nonsense out. Didn't even check bags properly 🤣🤣. Food drab hence getting kfc. Manager couldn't run a Bath let alone an event. No agenda set for OAP night... 2 hrs sat doing nothing. Drinks delivery (water and cheap wine) was happening in the midst of a so called event, no agenda set, embaressing to be black. When suggested that they should cover the foods, I was told 'that's not my job, I just serve food.' No level of hygiene or cleanliness in this establishment. Tables and chairs look as if they were shuffled in from a car boot, paint splatter everywhere. Ashamed that this is a black owned business. Zero...

I went here for the wake of a family member. The food was lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area was clean and tidy. Tables were tidied soon after we had finished eating. The staff were always on top of clearing away empty plates, glasses etc, even though there were not a huge amount of staff working as it was midweek.

My Mum & sister arrived a hood while after the food had stopped being served but the owner gladly fixed two plates, after taking my Mum and sisters orders as the other members of staff were behind the bar.

The music 🎶 played was old to new, different genres, mild enough to have a conversation with your meal and then stepped up a notch to do a two step in honour of the deceased. The speakers are well positioned throughout the premises so that you will not be deafened in one corner and straining to make out clearly what's being said in another.

After lockdown this was a excellent experience. I went to the ladies night. The host was so friendly and went out of her way make sure we were ok. The place was very clean and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was very tasty and nice. The DJs did an excellent job. The night was filled with laughter,dancing, poetry, entertainment and games.
