Price:- Colossally overrated and overpriced. 9 chicken pieces, a small plate of chips and a small milkshake cost us just shy of £30. They have tremendous social media coverage which is making them popular.
Food:- We all love flavour but anyone with a decent palate will probably be disappointed with the intensity. It’s not about the most amount of seasoning you can chuck in a meal but balancing them together. With Wingstop, all you taste is seasoning. You can’t taste the chicken, batter or the fries. It’s literally just a mouthful of ranch, seasoning, spice and more seasoning. It could have been any meat and you wouldn’t have known.
Service:- The service was good. The cashier explained all the chicken flavours and service to expect. It took about 15 minutes to cook, which was slower than anticipated but at least we knew it was fresh. Full marks.
Music:- They are trying to mirror a nightclub feel but the music is far too loud. Eating is predominantly a social situation but they blast the music at such a volume you can’t speak without shouting at each other. They have speakers positioned all over the restaurant so there’s no escaping it. I wonder if they are catering to a different audience as the venue was packed with 13 year olds who probably thought it was a ‘cool environment’.
Toilets:- The toilets are pokey. They are newly decorated but on the small side. One urinal not accessible as they built it in front of a pillar. Smart move. Only one hand soap so if that runs out… the men will not be washing their hands.
Floor:- The greasiest floor I have ever encountered outside of a commercial kitchen. Bring your skates because walking to the toilets is a challenge. It’s even on the toilet floors as well. I expect several injuries and potential claims will be coming their way in the near future.
Overall:- Lovely staff. Overpriced. Underwhelmed. Too noisy....

Welcoming and chatty Santri does deserve a five star service who was confident and polite, attentive towards the customer and does have a thorough knowledge of the menu.
He was making sure that orders get ready quickly and helping staff in the kitchen too with their orders. He patiently helped me decide which flavours and sauces to get and made sure I was happy with my decision.
I did a take away and got myself a meal deal with no drink which I found quite expensive. I would suggest adding a drink in the meal deal as the drinks were quite pricey. And fruit shoot, being the cheapest option, does not taste healthy neither great.
The freestyle machines for refillable drinks with a variety of options does catch my attention and would love to fill my glass next time.
Am extremely impressed with the strong branding and their packaging. I did a takeaway and put my food boxes in my bag and none of them leaked. The overall packaging looks so exclusive and premium.
In my opinion, this place can get extremely busier if they start offering student discount through Unidays since the place is surrounded by students residence and colleges. Also, if they can also look into increasing the quantity of food, that would be great.
Helpful and friendly staff who have kept the place so clean and organised, am definitely...
Read moreThe chicken is good, with many flavour options - if you're a fan of crispy coating, have it plain; it can get very sticky with a sauce over it.
I went in with the intention of having a burger meal, but they don't have meal deals here. No shakes, and no coffee.
I had a buffalo burger, which was slightly spicy and not as 'hot' as expected, with some lemon pepper fries - both were really good - the burger had the brioche bun with two pieces of chicken, and a coleslaw that reminded me slightly of kimchi, which might have been because of the vinegar from the punchy slice of pickle on top. The lemon pepper fries were light, crispy and hot. The subtle flavours were easily distinguishable and worked really well, especially with mayo.
So although there were slightly limited choices, what made up for this were the totally excellent staff - Attentive, smiling and friendly. The best I have experienced in my long mission to find the best fried chicken in London - well done to them, they were charming, and went above and beyond the necessary, bringing my food to the table, offering to get some sachets for me and checking twice that everything was OK and clearing my table for me. Really good.
This is the best I've found...
