I've only had Chicken Katsu Curry and fish sushi from there, so can only comment on this. The food is absolutely amazing! However other things let it down. The staff are nice, but if I'm ordering "LARGE CHICKEN KATSU CURRY" and I'm asked if I want large or small every single time, I can get annoyed a bit. Also when I was ordering small positions they fill it right to the top. When I'm ordering large potion, it seems that the same amount of food goes in, but they leave sides empty! :-/ so I'm paying more for exactly the same portions - not happy about that at all! And also ALL the lids on large boxes aren't made to fit. I've had enough of this! EVERY SINGLE TIME I ORDER TAKE AWAY, THE SAUCE SPILLS IN MY BAG! I thought I had few faulty lids, but when I mention this last time when I ordered, the guy serving me, tried on few lids - and ALL of they ware loose. He put some cling film around the loose lid - very poorly, and the lid come off in the bag, again!!!! PLEASE SORT IT OUT! Also in the large sushi, there is only 1 small soya sauce, so when you order you need to ask for 2 more. KOKORO - can you start putting as standard 3 small sashes of soya sauce, or one larger one. It was disappointing for me at the first time, opening it at home, and having not enough soya sauce. When all this gets sorted , I'll amend my review, because food...

I went on 18/04/2024, I had some sour chicken with noodles to take away. They already had a pot with OLD NOODLES that they did put on the microwave to heat, they served me that with the chicken, and when I was going to pay, I wanted to pay with cash. I have payed with cash before, but the Indian girl who attended me was very rude, she just didn't just gave me old noodles on a microwave, she also was FORCING Me to pay with my card, something that I didn't want to do, she said that she only could take cash if I had the exact amount of money. I was reluctant to pay because I didn't have pennies, so then she said that she could accept the half in cash and half in card, contradicting the fist thing she said. She's just too lazy to take cash. Rude and lazy staff, and what's worse, MICROWAVED FOOD. If I wanted to eat microwaved food, I would make it at home. A cheap noodles made with boiled water in 3 minutes are better than the trash they served me. Then I went to wasabi to get the rest of my food, and I didn't only choose if I wanted to pay with cash or card, I had way better food and better attention. I'm never going to...

me and my girlfriend went to get some food after our university lecture and our experience was awful. i had asked for the katsu prawn bowl and the lady serving me didn’t even give me a chance to say that i wanted it with noodles before she went off and put rice in it with the sauce. i’m a very anxious person so i didn’t say anything at the time, but when i was eating it, the rice seemed overcooked and was clumping together and just not very nice overall. my girlfriend then went back in to ask if they could remake it as we were unsatisfied with it and because i didn’t receive what i wanted (because the lady didn’t let me ask for it with noodles). as soon as my girlfriend said that to the lady, she was rude and unfriendly. she said that she didn’t serve me and that we were just saying all of this to “scam” them. she reluctantly remade it for me but was very very rude. when my girlfriend came back to me (in the outside seating on the street) the woman came and stood outside the shop and stared at us for a solid 5 minutes. the lack of customer service skills is shocking. i will not...

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 – Tasty, Quick, and Reliable Kokoro is a great go-to spot when you’re craving something warm, filling, and fast. The sweet and sour chicken is consistently good, tender, and served with just the right amount of sauce. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for central locations. Service is usually quick, even during the lunch rush, though seating can get a bit cramped at peak times. Staff are polite and efficient, but it can sometimes feel a little rushed. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a quick meal that doesn’t compromise on taste. Would definitely return – especially for the sushi or the spicy udon!

Have to agree with the negative reviews in terms of how it has gone downhill on a few factors. Sweet chilli chicken is chewy and salty. Got a mix with sweet and sour chicken which is more palatable. The portion size is ridiculously small and i went for the large which also given the price may as well be an overcharged small. The lady who served me was quite stoic, heavy with the rice and light-handed with the proteins of choice which i paid extra for a mix. All in all £10.65 for some rice and a few pieces of subpar chicken is unacceptable and they should do better.
