Wrap It Up - Barbican — Restaurant in London

Went for the free wrap today, had virtually no ingredients - including basics like rice, lettuce, cheese, black beans. This would be fine had the demand been unexpected, but they knew how many free wraps had been promised so would be straight forward to ensure enough supply. Furthermore, I would have expected an apologetic manner from the staff, instead the response was "well, you did come late". Irrelevant, not my job to time when I eat lunch, it's your job ensure you have the supply - especially when you know exactly how many wraps you've promised. Response to owner: Do you think it would be acceptable if you had enough stock for 20 wraps and said no to the remaining customers and referred to the T&Cs "while stocks last" as an excuse? Assume not. Doesn't make a difference if it's 20 or 2000, the level of demand was known well in advance of the date. Genuinely would not even bother writing this if the staff had simply said "sorry, our bad, we've run out" and didn't give me rubbish second rate...

I've always appreciated the food at Wrap it Up as I used to be a regular at the Bishopsgate branch. So yesterday I decided to get lunch at this one as our office moved around here. After being served I went at the back to the cutlery box and I dropped a pen and I tried to find it thinking it might have rolled under the table, I kneeled down to look for it.... A wave of nausea rolled over me as I realized I was looking at a lot of MOUSE DROPPINGS everywhere. At first I thought someone had spilled rice and then it dawned on me that it was mouse poo. CLEARLY this place had not been cleaned properly in a long time. I called the council and left a complaint. The restaurant manager can say anything they want to say but there is clearly a lack of proper rodent control and most worrisome is a lack of proper cleaning and vigilance. Place to avoid. Really bad customer service. Been going here for months buying coffee every day and food. I realised that there’s a loyalty card but they didn’t tell me about it. They recognised me so I said can I get extra stamps as I wasn’t told about here and was a regular customer. One lady went to do it and then another lady started arguing saying I’ve already been giving one and don’t deserve another one. She was really rude about it and found it ridiculous since they knew my orders without me saying and we would chat, so to be rude over a few extra stamps which I would have accrued regardless is pathetic.
