Visited Sandwich Sandwich during a recent trip to London. I had wanted to go for a while and managed to finally get here when it was open and I had time :) I arrived at the store around 1030 on a Saturday morning and it was nice and quiet. I entered the store and started to look at the menu, I was greeted several times to ask if I was ready to order and when I stated I was just looking this was recognised and accepted. There is so much to see on the menu and what’s in front of you, it’s a lot to take in.
I opted for a Hot chocolate and a Crodough - Nutella and Marshmallow. The server was really nice & asked if I wanted the hot chocolate made with milk or water and how “chocolately” I wanted it. I appreciated this with the Crodough as I didn’t want it too rich. The balance was just right and I enjoyed this snack.
It is worth noting that there is not an awful lot of inside seating here, I was surprised and expected a bit more. There is 2 benches that seat around 4 each, plus a round table as you walk in the main entrance and then 3 tables of 2 on the other side by the fridges. Considering the size of the sandwiches and what’s on offer ie the cheesecakes etc I can’t imagine eating these standing up or walking around London given the mess I might make lol so I was pleased to be able to get a seat.
I then went back for a sandwich. I was slightly disappointed as when I ordered the hot chocolate etc I asked if the items on the boards above confirmed they had the stock. Normally when things are no longer available I have seen / heard they take the boards off. Whether or not this is true I don’t know but when I went to order a scotch egg I was told there were not available. I also wanted to take a cold sausage roll away with me but I was told this wasn’t possible - the only ones that were available were in the warmer. It’s personal opinion but as I was taking my 1/2 my sandwich away (I wasn’t going to be able to eat it all) I didn’t want a hot item in with the cold sandwich. FYI the sausage roll does say it contains chilli but my goodness it was spicy! It caught me by surprise on the first bite!
The atmosphere in here gets very busy as expected but the overall vibe is very nice. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Yes the prices are slightly on the expensive side but looking at the ingredients available, the items on offer and the way they are made I would say it was worth it. I would go back and look to try another sandwich on the menu.
My only gripe I suppose I would say was the brownies and the crodoughs are on the top of the area where the fresh ingredients are stored. I was passed my sandwich over the top of these items and I saw others as well - they don’t have any plastic covering over the top of the them so are open to the elements / hands touching them inadvertently etc
Anyway suffice to say the server who made my sandwich was very nice and it was very cool to watch it being built - I use this word as it is a tower!
There was a sign to say they didn’t take AMEX or cash which I thought was slightly strange - I know cash isn’t a widely used as it was but if I was a tourist with just travel money or someone who had only cash on them this would be a tad...

After seeing all the buzz on socials, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to them.
First off, I ordered two jerk chicken sandwiches—one on granary bread and one on white via UberEats. However, both arrived on white, which was incorrect.
More importantly, the sandwiches were missing key ingredients that were clearly listed on their website. What I received contained only jerk chicken, mayo, lettuce, cucumber, and an overwhelming amount of coleslaw. However, the relish and pineapple, which were supposed to be included, were missing. This was disappointing, especially after seeing the advertised description and photos. (See pics attached and judge for yourself before I get bashed), yes I did try and reach out to the them and no response yet! This was defo not the same as what I thought I brought from the website.
On the positive side, the bread was soft, and the sandwich was generously filled. However, the overall taste was underwhelming. The excessive coleslaw overpowered everything, drowning out the jerk flavor, and the sweetness that should have balanced it was completely absent.
For over £10 per sandwich—especially when it wasn’t made correctly—this felt like a letdown. It tasted like a regular sandwich, nothing special. Maybe if it had been prepared properly, the experience would have been different, but what I got simply didn’t justify the hype or the price. Definitely not worth it and nothing special at all.
I did write to them by email and on insta but still no reply which is also disappointing
I Guess you live and learn but defo...
Read moreOh. My. God. Hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I waited outside while my other half grabbed the food and when he handed me the BRICK that was my southern fried chicken sandwich, my jaw dropped. Suddenly the £10 price tag made total sense - not even the pictures on the website prepared me for the size of this thing. I committed to managing half in a single sitting (and would have managed if the heavens hadn't opened) as this thing genuinely is the size of two meals. Then the tasting...totally lived up to expectation! Normally I'm not a big fan of salad leaves in sandwiches but all of the ingredients here were so well proportioned that I had no desire to remove anything. While I was waiting for my food, one of the staff spotted me outside with my miniature dachshund and gestured to ask if he'd like some chicken. When I nodded, she rushed out with a slice for him and made a big fuss of him, which really brightened my day (and his). Another member of staff later spotted him and almost brought him more meat - so they're definitely a dog-loving crew! My only notes for the owners/managers are: 1) Drink selection - PepsiCo drinks are not the best. Please consider expanding the range! and 2) I went for chicken despite being mostly pescatarian because the veggie/fish options were lacking imo. There are some great meat substitutes out there that would make for amazing sandwiches - please consider adding some to your options! That said, my other half really enjoyed the beetroot and falafel hash sandwich - so if you like those foods then at least you'll enjoy...
