I really enjoyed visiting this place I have been looking for interesting things on the maps and made a list and took a trip to London to visit the places I found and often find other interesting places whilst there. This was one of the places I found and I'm really glad I visited it There are see-through signs with lines of wear and what they are so you can understand better with other signs all along the railings there is alot of information so will learn alot from this place which is really good as so many places have hardly any information at all available.

No need for tickets, this is free to visit. For those that can't visit but would like to know the history behind it, pictures added if the information boards. The team were in the process of cleaning, clearing, maintenance when I visited. Although not a lot left there is a lot of history in those walls dating back hundreds of years. All outdoors so very weather dependant. Surrounded by office buildings. Museum just round the corner. This marks the boundary 'London Wall' of London and the City of London.

The juxtaposition of the Roman ruins with the surrounding modern buildings is quite striking. The old Roman ruins are quite charming, albeit a bit hard to get to from the street. We saw them because of the lovely view from a window in the Museum of London. We took some great photos and had a great time exploring and learning about “Londinium” and the romans who inhabited it.

The ruins are one of the most clever redevelopment projects in London. You are surrounded by skyscraper office buildings, modern and shiny, and if you look you can see how they fight for the sky without touching this amazing 2000 years old pathway, exquisitely preserved and self explained that takes you back and finds you simultaneously amazed at 21st Century building engineering and 2nd century unbelievable masonry skills. Do you say perspective? Yes,...
