Went there to celebrate my birthday, the staff there were welcoming and very thoughtful, specially Lidia. My cake slice was a complete surprise and it came with a candle which was very sweet of her. I took a photoshoot there which they didn’t mind at all. Overall the service was great. Everything we ordered came in a decent time, the sharing board was a okay, some items were salty, and the pizzas were great in size but not so much in thickness, one of my guests complained that all she could taste is tomato sauce ( she was eating the pure pepperoni) which I partially agree with. However, I did enjoy the pizzas there were good. The Overall price was surprisingly cheap ( under £130), the amount of drinks (specially mock tails ) were probably the thing that costed me the most, I would recommend to just stick with soft drinks, I liked it more than the mock tails and they also make it seem fancy. For the girls who are wondering abt the bathroom, is not beautifully decorated but it is still a vibe, they have a very large mirror that cover most of the wall, and individual bathroom within it, which also have mirrors and space to take your pictures and videos. Overall the place was 4/5, definitely not a bad place at all.

Zizzi’s was a great Italian restaurant that had some really good comfort food. The staff and ambience of the restaurant were both really pleasant. I ordered the Zizzi favourite pasta, the “casareccia pollo picante” which was a spicy chicken pasta dish with tomatoes and baby spinach and I could taste why it was a Zizzi favourite! It was spicy unlike a lot of other Italian restaurants but I really enjoyed that. For the vegetarians, ask your server to remove the chicken, it is still worth it! My friends got the spaghetti pomodoro which was really standard and ravioli which was decent but lacked in quantity hence I still recommend the pollo picante. Make sure to get their chilli oil and parmesan to make your dish even more special. I will be returning to try their “Pasta Della Casa” which seemed really appealing as well. 4* instead of 5* because the service was pretty slow. KEY TIP: for all students on unidays, this place has a 40% off coupon code so make sure to use it as that is totally worth it even on a daily basis!

TLDR: Not worth the money. They forgot to make us cocktails until they served our starter, and even then they only gave us one cocktail and we had to wait for the other. The Strawberry Daiquiri was ok, the black forest cocktail was basically white chocolate curls with a bit of alcohol and sauce in it. The favourites sharing board starter was pretty boring and tasted pretty bland. The calzone was ok, the garlic pork meatballs lacked alot of flavour and didn't taste of pork or garlic. The chocolate melt was basically a larger, but flatter, melt in the middle pudding you can buy from most shops and the vanilla gelato was just soft scoop ice cream. The black forest fondant was slightly warm on the outside and cold in the middle and gelato tasted like watery ice cream. The bill came to just shy of £100, including the optional 10% staff tip, but luckily we had a gift voucher for £49. The meal and experience wasn't worth £100 and I'd probably argue that it's not even worth the £50 we paid either.

We were looking for a place to eat and stopped at this place. It was very quiet for the location of the restaurant (nearby Oxford street) but we were craving Italian so we asked for a seat. He wanted us to sit inside and was not pleased that we asked for a table outside but it was so hot inside that we didn’t want to stay inside. The manager completely ignored us and a couple of other tables. I went to the toilet and wanted to ask on my way back if we could already order or if I could have the table number so we could order via the QR code I couldn’t even finish my sentence when the manager said “you have already ordered” in a snarky way. Sadly he only took our order of the drinks, the coffee was bad and the water was warm and it took them 20 minutes to bring that, after that he didn’t take our order for food and I started to read some reviews online and decided to leave.

The manager was rude and I saw multiple tables leave before they could order. I worked in restaurants for six years and go out to eat regularly but this service was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Also the manager SMELLED and had very bad hygiene and if that’s the manager I don’t want to know how the hygiene situation is of the restaurant… couldn’t be good.

If someone is reading this while waiting to order, go to Ristorante Olivelli it’s very nearby and the service is perfect and the...

I would give 0 stars. Appalling service & terrible food. The manager Paulina was very very very rude towards me and my friends and the waiters all seemed very miserable and was unhelpful.

Paulina gave us a very rude greeting when we arrived we had a booking which was made this morning we arrived at the restaurant at 5.30 and she said to us “how many minutes ago did you book?” And rolled her eyes we explained that it was booked in the morning she then got another colleague to take us to our table and refused to give us the Christmas set menu which was plastered in posters all around and outside of the restaurant so we asked another worker who was more than happy to…so what was the reason for her to not give it ?

As a Group of NHS workers who went out to enjoy some food to celebrate all of our hard work we have left feeling upset and angry with the way we were treated.

Paulina should not be working as a manager if she is going to be so rude to customers. Zizzi you should be utterly disappointed to have someone like this running your restaurant. She will be making you lose customers rather than gain.

I will be making a further complaint about Paulina as it was totally...
