I honestly don’t even know where to start because this experience completely exceeded my expectations. From the very first moment, everything felt extraordinary. The actors weren’t just good — they were phenomenal. Their energy, timing, and ability to pull you into the storyline made it feel like you were living inside a movie rather than just watching a performance. Every scene was full of surprises, laughter, and genuine excitement.

The storyline itself? Absolutely amazing. It was creative, engaging, and kept everyone hooked from start to finish. It wasn’t just entertainment — it was an adventure.

And the drinks… oh my god, the drinks. I swear I have never in my life had cocktails this good. Each one was crafted with so much detail and flavor that it felt like part of the show itself. You don’t just drink them, you experience them.

What makes it even more mind-blowing is the value. The price is honestly ridiculous for what you get: four drinks per person, top-tier entertainment, unforgettable laughs, and a night you’ll still be talking about weeks later. If I could rate it higher than 10/10, I absolutely would. Let’s call it a solid 100/10.

An amazing immersive experience

Alcotraz is a very well set up ordeal, a theatrical drinking experience like none other. It beats bottomless prosecco brunch for sure.

Upon arrival you are debriefed for the experience before entry, it is BYOB (bring your own booze) so you'll need to bring any drink of your liking - preferably spirits so they can make cocktails for you.

During the sentence at alcotraz you are given cocktails made with the spirit you manage to bring in with you, I wouldn't be exaggerating if i said we had the best cocktails ever. We brought a Tanqueray Gin 70cl with us and every drink was absolutely incredible, I was astonished it was made just with our gin (and their supply of mixers) we had 12 drinks in total, alas there was a bit of rush at the end to finish the drinks and we did have to leave one or two behind which was a shame because they were so good. my advice: get it down ya We still had 1/3 of the bottle left at the end so were pleasantly surprised.

The experience is entertaining, unique and fun. It is a great quirky date, stag/hen do or even just a good place to get some cocktails.

Really upset with what happened. We were booked on the 7pm and they'd asked us to swap to half 9 because of a full cell. So we obligingly did, discussed what alcohol we liked that they gifted us for the trouble. Then when we turned up at half 9 they said they'd changed their minds and swapped us back to the 7 and had told me... I found an email that I didn't see from the day before asking if it would be ok to swap back literally hours after they confirmed our alcohol etc for the 9.30pm show. I obviously didn't respond having not seen the email, and they didn't even try and contact me again or ring or anything. Then the manager had us waiting outside while she let everyone else in only to be told no we can't go in and she can't say we'd get a refund. We spent 50 quid on taxis each way specifically to come to Manchester for this experience and were so looking forward to it but just shocked they handled the whole thing badly. I finally got a message from the owner this morning offering to refund it finally. But really left a bad taste how it was all handled by them last night.
