I have discovered a hidden gem in the heart of Manchester, St Peter's Sq. From the moment I stepped in, I was enchanted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. This place has become my go-to spot, thanks to its outstanding service and incredible ambiance. The star of the show is undoubtedly Eden, the wonderful lady behind the counter. Her dedication to customer service is unparalleled. Every visit feels like a warm welcome, and she goes above and beyond to ensure that each customer feels valued and appreciated. Eden's passion for her craft is evident in every cup she prepares, making each visit a memorable and delightful experience. The comfortable and cozy ambiance of Black Sheep Coffee is another reason why I keep coming back. It's the kind of place where time seems to slow down, allowing me to savor every moment. The seating arrangement is well thought out, providing both a sense of privacy and a communal atmosphere – perfect for catching up with friends or spending some quality solo time. What truly sets this coffee shop apart is the feeling of belonging it evokes. It's not just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a haven for coffee enthusiasts like me. I find myself lingering for hours, enjoying the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the soothing background music, and the friendly chatter of fellow patrons. In summary, Black Sheep Coffee has captured my heart with its exceptional service, the radiant Eden, and the welcoming ambiance. It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a sanctuary for those who appreciate the art of a perfectly brewed cup and the joy of savoring it in a space that feels like a second home. I can confidently say that I love this place and look forward to many more delightful moments spent here.

I recently visited Black Sheep Coffee at St Peter’s Square, and I have to say — it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine smiles and a friendly vibe. The team here clearly enjoys what they do, and it shows — they were polite, attentive, and even took the time to recommend drinks when I was undecided. It’s refreshing to find such warm customer service in the heart of the city. The atmosphere is relaxed, stylish, and very welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee, working remotely, or just taking a break in the city, the space is perfect. It’s got a cool, urban feel with comfortable seating and a great playlist in the background — not too loud, just right. Now onto the coffee — I ordered a flat white and it was perfectly made. Rich, smooth, and full of depth, with no bitterness. Easily one of the best I’ve had in Manchester. You can tell they take their brewing seriously here. They also had a great selection of alternative milks, snacks, and pastries, and everything looked fresh and well-presented. Overall, I highly recommend this location. Excellent staff, top-tier coffee, and a brilliant atmosphere — a proper hidden gem in the city centre. I’ll definitely be returning.

Recently visited Black Sheep St Peter’s Square in Manchester. Nipped in one Sunday morning for a late brunch and a coffee. Had heard good things about Black Sheep but never been in one before. Managed to park quite near to the building, looked good from the outside. Inside the decor was on trend with wooden floors, and a large serving area. I went to the counter to order a coffee and wanted to try the strong black coffee that Black Sheep does as it had been recommended to me. The very knowledgable barista behind the counter described the various coffees to me and I settled on a “love berries” coffee with oat milk and an almond croissant, which came still warm. I was impressed with the time the barista took with me, despite this cute cafe being a hive of activity. Whilst it is a busy place, with the coffee machines steaming away, I was very relaxed in there, and listened to very mellow tunes being played through their speakers. I didn’t know what to expect when I first went in there, but I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back. Will now actively seek a Black Sheep cafe in other towns. A chain, but keeping an individual, personal vibe to it. Well done St Peter’s Square! I will now be leaving the herd behind. 👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely blown away by the experience I had at Black Sheep Coffee, all thanks to Megan—the barista extraordinaire who turned a simple coffee run into a five-star moment of pure joy.

From the second I walked in, Megan greeted me with a radiant smile that made it feel like I was stepping into a friend’s home rather than a coffee shop. There was an unmistakable warmth in her demeanor—genuine, attentive, and completely magnetic. It wasn’t that over-the-top, rehearsed customer service smile; it was real. You felt seen.

I hadn’t even ordered yet, and she was already engaging in this effortlessly natural small talk that didn’t feel forced or robotic. She asked how my morning was going, but somehow it didn’t sound like a script. It felt like she actually cared. You could tell she was reading the room—sensing whether customers needed a chat, a pick-me-up, or just a smooth in-and-out service. That emotional intelligence? Rare.

When it came time to order, she was incredibly knowledgeable—not just reciting a menu but offering actual recommendations tailored to me. I told her I needed something strong but smooth, and she immediately suggested a flat white with their signature Black Sheep blend—describing the flavor profile like a sommelier. “Chocolatey base with a caramel finish, low acidity, and a full-bodied mouthfeel.” She wasn’t wrong. It was hands down the best flat white I’ve had in years. Balanced, bold, silky smooth.

But here’s the kicker: I’m lactose intolerant, and Megan handled it like a pro. No eyeroll, no hesitation—she ran me through the dairy-free options and even asked if I wanted to try the oat milk steamed a little cooler to preserve the natural sweetness. Who even thinks of that? Megan does.

Even during the busy morning rush, you could see her in full command behind the bar—calm, efficient, fast without being frantic. She was coordinating drink orders, chatting with regulars by name, and steaming milk to perfection all at once. It was like watching an artist at work. A caffeinated conductor orchestrating a morning symphony of espresso shots and good vibes.

By the time I left, not only was my coffee perfect, but my entire mood had lifted. Megan didn’t just serve me a drink—she served a moment. A reset. A spark of joy in the middle of a hectic day.

If you ever find yourself near Black Sheep Coffee and Megan is behind the counter, cancel your plans and get in line. You’ll walk away with more than just a coffee—you’ll walk away better than when you arrived.

10/10. Five stars. Someone give her a raise. Or a...
