Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Manchester

Stayed in a hotel nearby so was here a lot getting coffees, breakfast etc. The best Chai Latte I've ever had, highly recommend. Coffee was great, good flavour & robust. The quality of food, snacks & bakery products here is the best I've ever experienced at any Costa, maybe they store their items better than other outlets. I found the sandwiches & toasted products very fresh, Sweet Slices had a great crumb base that didn't come apart & the Lemon Muffins were amazingly fresh with a delicious fruity centre. The only upsetting experience was the staff with blonde tips who rolled his eyes at me because I wasn't ready when he asked for my order. There was nobody waiting behind me & it was almost empty inside. It's ok for customers to take their time deciding since we're paying! Staff shouldn't be giving a sarcastic attitude because customers don't jump to attention - there's a huge drinks menu, give customers some time to look...

I've had a car park issue which is my fault. I've asked the manager if she could help me, she said no, when I asked why she replied with shocking RUDE ATTITUDE that she has dealt with it so many time and doesn't want to do it. She has East European accent.

I blame no-one but myself for the car park ticket when i parked in the white marked car park which was a genuine mistake. But you would never be rude to someone who was clam and polite.

When I asked her if she is the manager she replied yes and took her badge off and asked me to go away. Why on earth would you remove your badge!!!!!

Clean, tidy, typical average Costa experience. Light, bright restaurant with big windows designed on 2 floors. No parking nearby so be prepared to walk. Built into a high rise complex but on the ground floors. Upstairs is not easy to access for the less able bodied. Quite large and spacious especially upstairs.

Update 1: Apparently there is free parking here somewhere according to other reviews. Blessed if I could find the entrance and I drove round 3 times.
