We travelled an hour specially to have the Tawa for 2 for lunch. It's your traditional type of Pakistani "restaurant", the upkeep isn't there but that prob reflects in the very decent prices.

Seating wise there is two sections, one designed for families and women. It got very busy after we were seated with people waiting for others to leave.

We asked for the Tawa to be told it may not be available and he would check, he did and confirmed we can order, we asked for bhindi gohst curry and again he said he needs to check, this wasn't available so we ordered the kerale gohst.

We were told it would be around 15 mins wait, which was accurate.

We were given a plate of salad and jug of tap water. Food arrived promptly and presented very well.

Portion size was perfect for two of us, lots of flavor and we enjoyed the food.

I went to the counter to pay for the bill, note my image shows the menu as of 16th October 2024 which shows prices are different to other images online, it was £19 for the Tawa for 2.

I was told Bill is £20, I did query this saying no issue, in paying but the menu does say £19.

He checked with the waiter who said it's £1 for the salad plate 😂. We didn't even ask for this or were offered it.

No issue, paid and left.

Overall 5 star but 1 star drop for charged salad plate, seems petty, but they should...

If you're looking for an unforgettable food experience, Lahori Nazara in Manchester is the place, and if you’re lucky, Umar Cheema will be your host. Let me tell you, this man didn’t just serve us food, he delivered a performance! From the first bite to the last, he ensured we were treated like royalty (seriously, I think he bowed at one point…but I might have just been dizzy from the food coma).

The Lahori curry? Absolutely rich, flavourful, and with a kick that makes you question your spice tolerance but in the best possible way. Just when we thought we couldn't eat any more, Umar Cheeema swooped in, like a culinary superhero, and topped us up with some palak ghosht.

If you visit, go with an empty stomach because Umar Cheema doesn't mess around. This man makes sure no plate is left unfilled, no stomach left unfed. He’s not just serving food, he’s not just serving food; he’s orchestrating a full-blown culinary symphony, where every dish hits the high notes and your taste buds get a...

Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

Disgusting place. No hygiene measures. Dirty plates all over the place and tables, no one bothering to clear tables or clean properly. Food is tasteless, nothing lahori about the food. Haleem is like water consistency and daal mix, the channay ordered are not lahori channay just a boiled mixture of something ive never seen with no taste. Moli paratha was moli with haldi slopped in, roughly constructed pratha. No taste again. Cost of food is not even discounted where the attraction may lie. Portion sizes are very small (didnt bother us as we were disgusted). Food is priced same as much better places where food has some taste and is served clean!!!

Whos rating this highly! I have no idea why!!? Ever had any decent food in your life. You’re misleading people into thinking theres something good about this place.

Food, seating, hygiene everything overall ,sadly very disgusting and disappointing.

Avoid...

I recently visited Lahori bazaar for breakfast and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the seating area is quite nice and tidy, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining. The customer service was also commendable—friendly and attentive staff made us feel welcome. However, I found the breakfast to be below average, leaving me unsure about trying other menu items in the future. Additionally, while the seating area is cozy, it does feel a bit tight, especially during peak hours. Another downside is the cleanliness of the single toilet, which could use some improvement. Parking is another concern, as there’s no dedicated parking outside, requiring us to find a spot on the side street. Overall, I would rate my experience a solid 3 out of 5 stars. There’s potential here, but some areas definitely need attention
