Just yesterday we had ordered some food and it was not up to the standard. Normally I have tasted the food it is exceptionally good. We ordered Bhindi Ghost and we received the food with only Bhendi (Okra) and no meat in it.

I would like to go in detail about this. First when we get into the resturant the staff didn't seem like to care at all. Very negative atmosphere for some reason and the colleagues were arguing with each other about something. When we gave our order the person was not even listening carefully and cracking jokes with other colleagues. I mean I get it you are on the clock and have to make things more comfortable for yourself . But that doesn't mean that you ignore the customer infornt of you and give the Impression like you don't care.

We later called the resturant to confront about the issue and I was sitting with my guests and I had very high expectations of the food service. To be honest I was disappointed. On call when we told them what the issue is. The person tells us to let it go it's okay and it won't be like this next time. I was like is he thinking straight??? Like what does he think this is..... I paid for It and thought very highly of the food service.

I was infront of my guests embarrassed and couldn't speak more with him but I cant believe the audacity and attitude he was giving us. I mean if you don't care about business than you won't have customers.

Hopefully a manager will notice this and correct...

My familia say the food is quite tasty and well cooked (as images show)... What frustrates them is (at times) the food may be a little too spicy than expected/portion size is not enough/even a bit burnt.

Mr Shahid (the owner) has great customer service and customer relation skills, as do a few of his staff, such as his sidekick - the man who usually manages the phone orders...

This place is well run at busy times when Mr Shahid is there..Because he makes sure that orders are sent out/made on time.

This diner is always kept clean and tidy whenever I pop in.

Mazaa also has delivery service (with deliveroo and Uber Eats). This is quite useful as it saves us a deal of time if we decide to order online.

My review had gone down to 3 stars because in the past we had ordered a portion of chicken and chanaa daal but instead we only received a portion of chanaa daal which was quite oily to the point that it had spilt through the paper bag.. And, (on another day) we had to wait over an hour for our order - It was only a small order as well..

In the future we will try to order at less busier times, yet that can't always be the case because we only order on weekends.

Although, one must consider that staff are sometimes dealing with many orders at one time, and therefore can make a mistake in order thus increase the predicted ready time of...

This isn't a review. What's going on with Mazaa?. It was closed for ages recently, now it is apparently open and has a new sign (the old sign was much better). But it used to be open late at night, now it's closed at 1am (when I go) or probably even earlier. What happened to 4am closing? What happened to this place being mega popular and police always ordering?. Something strange is going on, are the owners or staff even the same?. If any of you find out then please let all the people know on Google review system.

Edit 08 July 2023: I have been now and I still think there's abit of mystery as to why it temporarily closed and changed its sign. But the staff are the same guys (friendly and hard working guys aswell), the interior is better quality now, feels abit roomier. It seems to be open at it's late times again now, atleast it was when I went.

The food is still epic, so I don't know what the 1 star reviews are about. And I think everyone feels comfortable at Mazaa, doesn't matter what background your from. Its still one of...

Drove all the way from Bradford for this so it had to be worth it... and boy was it. It was spot on, on the money as they say. Delicious food, the naan was soft, grilled meat succulent and the sauces complement the food taking it up a level. I was hungry so I had chicken tikka on naan, added 1 seekh kebab and portion of chops. Had salad, mango sauce, imli (tamarind) sauce and chilli sauce on top. (Skipped the yoghurt sauce as i don't think it adds to the flavour) I ate in the car as unable to eat in during Covid-19. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be making the journey again. Thank you to the staff who were welcoming yet professional and all adhering to the social distancing rules.

Mazaa offers a down-to-earth dining experience, not your typical fine dining affair but more of a greasy spoon charm. The menu boasts a variety of enticing options at reasonable prices. The chicken and lamb karahi, while good, didn't quite hit the "awesome" mark. However, the mixed grill stole the show with flavorful donner meat and satisfyingly good portions. The lamb chops, albeit slightly overcooked, were still enjoyable without being overly salty. Service left something to be desired as all the food arrived at once, leaving little space on the table. In summary, Mazaa serves up good, hearty fare, though it falls short of reaching culinary greatness.
