Nando's Manchester - Arndale — Restaurant in Manchester

I don’t normally write reviews but I work in customer service myself and just wanted to share my experience here. Today was the first time I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant on my own with my 3 month old baby and was so nervous that I nearly didn’t end up doing so as I thought it would be too much hard work. I’m so glad I did as the staff in there today were so so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. A youngish guy (didn’t get his name so sorry) brought my food over and noticed I hadn’t managed to get my drink or cutlery etc as I was feeding my baby. He instantly asked what drink I would like so he could get it for me. He also brought over my cutlery and napkins etc. A few minutes later he noticed I hadn’t managed to eat my food yet and asked if i wanted it taking to the kitchen to keep warm. I know this is only small and probably meant nothing to him but it just really helped me massively and really made me feel at ease. As well as this Andrew (I think his name was) offered to get me more chips if mine were cold by the time my baby had finished feeding as I hadn’t managed to eat my food yet. Fatima was also amazing and kept an eye on me. So sorry for the long review however i just left feeling so looked after by all the staff that i had to share. They continuously checked on me and asked if i needed anything bringing over and as a new mum who struggles juggling everything it just meant so much so just a huge thank you again! 🔥 Nando’s Review – A Spicy Treat Worth the Hype ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆

If you're a fan of grilled chicken with bold flavors and a kick of spice, Nando’s never disappoints. This visit was all about the heat – and it delivered.

🍗 Food I ordered the extra hot grilled chicken, and wow – juicy, perfectly cooked, and coated in that iconic PERi-PERi sauce that’s rich, tangy, and spicy in all the right ways. It came with three types of sauces on the side – each with its own unique flavor. My favorite was the garlic medium, smooth but still packed a punch.

🥤 Drink A tall glass of cold, fizzy orange soda was just what I needed to cool things down. Refreshing and generous in portion.

🌶 Sauces The famous PERi-PERi sauces are a highlight. You can try them right at your table – from the classic Medium to Garlic and even Hot. Each bottle’s packed with flavor and adds a nice customisable element to your meal.

🍽 Atmosphere The location had a modern, open design with natural lighting and a chilled vibe. Great for both solo meals or catching up with friends. Service was friendly and the self-ordering system was fast and smooth.

💸 Value for Money It’s not cheap fast food, but you’re getting quality grilled chicken with character and plenty of customization. A fair price for a flavor-packed experience.

📍 Overall Nando’s continues to hold its place as the go-to spot for flame-grilled chicken lovers. Just don’t forget – if you go “extra hot,” be prepared to sweat...

Came in when it just opened and we didn't book so we had to use the qr queue system which isn't complicated and pretty good which was shown by the host but wasn't given any instructions of what to do or what to put in at first. The door host on that day's attitude wasn't great with first impressions as she told my sister quite bluntly and rudely "you havent booked babes" would have been better if she said "I don't see your name on the system, have you booked on the system or would you like any assistance?" Then we figured it out on our own and the host seated us down and she did communicate well on how to order and saying we will take your drinks, cutlery etc. The drinks however took 15 minutes to make and bring to our table and we only had a Coke and Fanta. The food came and I had the Chicken pitta and the BBQ and garlic sauce and my sister had the chicken burger. It was so nice but the peri peri chips were slightly bland on both plates. The Front Of House servers were polite and would ask if we'd like re fills and would go out of their way to make you feel comfortable in the restaurant. The App is very easy to order from and the tables were nice and clean and covid safe especially with tables being socially distanced.

However with the door host's attitude it has put us off this Nando's and will be going to the one in printworks...
