under new management I think Meh! We arrived and everyone working there just seemed stoned. Stood for about 10 minutes and told one person we were booked in and the name after ten mins of just standing there, we got seated, 2 mins later someone else comes over and tells us we need to move seats, they pointed in the general direction of a corner section… sat down; waited… realised we had to order via an app which is fine but considering we’d paid £60 (and we were rudely told to sit by a grubby finger pointing in a general direction towards a corner seat and the waiter walking off immediately) we just had to guess which seat was ours it wouldve been nice to be told so we weren’t just sat confused! When we were half heartedly shown… then after ordering off the app and realising no drinks were on there we ordered from the bar (we’d already just been shoved fr pillar to post and just wanted a nice Sunday roast… we wouldn’t have come if we knew it had changed this much) weren’t told you had to go to the bar to order drinks…. so we sat there again forever… we weren’t told anything… Customer service was bottom of the barrel. I love Nora’s kitten. I wish I lived nearby so I can go more often. I first tried this place during lock down and they were doing deliveries. Normally delivered food is less tasty but Nora’s food was still amazing.

Years later, we finally managed to experience their food in person for their Basque night. I was tad worried about it as I haven’t had any food from there since lockdown. Like what if the food wasn’t as good as I remembered… well I was wrong. The food was still amazing. The lady I spoke to was still lovely. Overall it was amazing. I hope this place will keep going and will get the attention...

Ordered a Mushroom Wellington Sunday roast with Chorlton mess for dessert. The friendly waitress informed me 35 minutes later that the Yorkshire puddings were no longer available and that extra veg would be added to the meal. When the meal came it contained a rather small Wellington pastry, which was nice, 4 potatoes, broccoli and some swede mash, which was cold. All in all not bad, but not great.
